25.01.2022 We loved having a few sundowners with Giffo, Bron and Jim their beloved dog this week. The happiness and love these guys radiate is infectious. They gave us a valuable insight into our park .... that they're all happy hours at Trinity Islands #trinityislandsstyle #trinityislandsholidaypark #burrumriver #visitfrasercoast #caravanningqueensland #campingwithdogs #tourismqueensland
22.01.2022 Barra MONDAY. Check out Joel's catch - one of our latest additions to our lake, caught during the September school holidays. Our lake is catch and release and we proudly practice cruelty-free fishing. Trinity Islands is a place where you, your family and friends will create special memories. Whether it's dropping a line in our lake, taking in our epic sunsets, sharing stories around a campfire or simply sitting back and breathing in the fresh Burrum air.... Isn't it time you booked a stay with us? #trinityislandsstyle #trinityislandsholidaypark #visitfrasercoast #caravanningqld #campingqld #burrumrivertime #fishingqld
22.01.2022 As we all closed the chapter on 2020 and look towards 2021 there was no better reminder of hope for the future than one of our favourite and most frequent guests, Braxton. Braxton bravely opened the show for Jon Vea Vea & the Acoustic Jabiru with a couple of tunes he'd been practising hard to perfrom at our NYE celebrations. We do our best to create a special place for children at our park - Braxton was no exception. Thanks Braxton and we hope to see you next time with your new electric guitar. Well done you little legend!! https://fb.watch/2PNx3v2k-a/
18.01.2022 Meet our most regular 4-legged guest - Lulu. Lulu and her handler are part of the Whiskey's Wish Inc. program, who train service dogs for veterans and first responders. Dogs are the most amazing creatures - they teach us love and bring immeasurable joy to our lives. Whiskey's Wish dogs are particularly incredible because of the life-saving work they do for men and women who have dedicated their lives to protecting our way of life. Lulu is a working dog who loves to cool off... in our lake once her jacket is removed, after a hard day's work. We offer special rates for veterans and first responders and have created a special retreat within our campground where you'll find it easy to relax and unwind. Contact us to book or find out more. You can find out more about the remarkable people behind Whiskey's Wish and the life of Whiskey here: https://whiskeyswish.org.au See you soon Lulu #mentalhealthawareness #visitfrasercoast #campingwithdogs #trinityislandsstyle RIP Whiskey
14.01.2022 As storms rolled in around our region yesterday we were once again given the opportunity to stand in awe of nature at Trinity Islands. Yesterday's stunning sunset was captured by our amazing guests Ian and Gail who are staying with us on Wallaby Island (Island 1). We would like to thank all of our guests who stayed with us this week and braved some challenging weather conditions. Our park and our broader local community lost power for a couple of hours last night as a conse...quence of the storms. All of our guests took it in their stride with a relaxed attitude - which defines the experience we strive so hard to offer. Today, Trinity Islands is really turning it on - the weather is stunning - the sun is out, there's a gentle breeze blowing and our lake is sparkling. This weekend we're welcoming back a number of guests who have come to call this place their Island Home - we can't wait to share a truly special weekend with you all.
14.01.2022 Adam and Sally are two of the most beautiful, kind and wonderful guests we've ever had the pleasure of hosting. Like so many of our valued guests - they have become part of our Trinity Islands family. Recently, they stayed at our "Sanctuary Site" where they spent a couple of weeks with their family and friends. There were some magical, beautiful moments when it was just the two of them and their love shone through. The memories we share with Adam and Sally will be with u...s for a lifetime. We seriously ADORE these two love birds. We are often inspired by the way our guests relax and rediscover love in the beauty that only nature can offer. We think there's a special beauty which can only be found at Trinity Islands. The best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even heard, but must be felt with the heart. 11.01.2022 We are proudly pet friendly and love seeing our four-legged guests enjoying their holiday at Trinity Islands. Check out Myia and Zorro being the goodest of the good dogs lakeside at Trinity Islands. Myia and Zorro loved it here so much they've made a booking for next weekend - we understand their humans are also coming along for the ride.... We'd love to see your pics of your doggos at Trinity Islands - post in the comments below.
09.01.2022 Camping with us is like it was in times past, where nature takes centre stage and the focus turns away from screen time towards green time. 2020 has been a challenging year, give yourself the break you deserve - stay with us amongst the great outdoors. 3 islands set amongst an 11-acre private lake - perfect for cooling off in summer. Grab one of our kayaks or stand-up paddleboards and explore the lake. Great fishing, MASSIVE campsites (no sardine tins here....), abundant wi...ldlife and a place where you can put the screen down and connect with the things that really matter. #trinityislandstyle #visitfrasercoast #caravanningqld #backtonature Photo credit: Corporate to Caravan
07.01.2022 What an amazing September school holidays at Trinity Islands. Check out the Long Tom caught by Archie and Stanley - that's our biggest catch off the Burrum River Deck - great work you little legends. It was great to welcome back so many families for their second, third... or in the case of Nikki, James and Rob (their eighth trip since we opened). Check out three generations of Nuttalls - they had a great camp set up and we LOVED their family camp uniform.... Max and Nate were our resident fisherman and like so many kids who visit our park, they arrived as strangers and left as friends. We always love seeing families enjoying the fresh air and sunshine at Trinity Islands - many of them with their 4-legged friends who are just as much a part of their family as ours. No screens or wi-fi but a ton of people making a meaningful connection - with each other. Trinity Islands - make it your next holiday home. #trinityislandsstyle #campingqld #caravanningqld #visitfrasercoast #tourismqld #campingwithkids #campingwithdogs
05.01.2022 It's been nine months since we opened and through this time we have been so fortunate to receive support from so many people in our community. To everyone, we'd like to say thank you. Our vision for Trinity Islands has always been one which creates a place for people to holiday amongst nature. Where people can create memories that last a lifetime. We believe the connections between family, friends, community and nature are the most important ones we can make - and the onl...y ones that really matter. Like everyone throughout this pandemic we have faced some huge hurdles and even shed a few tears when the hurdles have seem insurmountable. But hurdles are there to teach us to jump higher. We would like to extend a special thank you to Bruce Saunders who believes in our vision, has taken the time to listen and gone in to bat for us so we can turn our dream into reality. In a time when we are inundated with bad news stories and unprecedented challenges - it is awesome to know that we are represented by a man of his word, a hard-working bloke who genuinely cares about the little guys like us and believes in the fabric of community. Thanks Bruce Saunders. Next week, we are closing for a week as we start the next chapter in creating a world-class destination for people to camp in the great outdoors. We look forward to sharing our plans with you all as they unfold. To all of our guests - past, present and future - THANK YOU. We are so excited to be in a position to start work on your island home at Trinity Islands Holiday Park.
05.01.2022 Yesterday we restocked our lake with a couple of hundred perch and some big barra! A special thank you to the kids who helped us release them into our lake. From today guests can only fish in our lake using circle hooks which are more humane than standard hooks. If you're coming to stay with us over the school holidays, please make sure you come prepared with cruelty-free hooks. We have a good supply for sale at reception if you aren't able to bring any with you. Being kind to all creatures is part of our management philosophy. Because kindness matters.
