23.01.2022 Vindication, in the sense of being cleared of guilt, always brings a sense of satisfaction to our lives--but maybe, the Christian perspective is somewhat different. This Sunday we will be looking at Genesis 41:37-57, in the story of Joseph, and trying to understand, how God being involved in the journey and outcome, makes all the difference, and clarifies the journey--past, present and future. Looking forward to hearing more Sunday.. worshipping and praising together :)... 10am Blackman's Bay Hall

21.01.2022 A great service this morning...if you missed the message or like to hear it again. Have a great blessed week

20.01.2022 TODAY’S TEXT FROM THE MERCURY Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 1 Corinthians 16:14

20.01.2022 God loves to teach with symbols. In the 34th chapter of Exodus, we are told that when Moses brought the Ten Commandments down from the mountain his face was shining like the sun. The brilliant face of Moses becomes the symbol of the attraction in trying to keep the Law of God. But when he had finished giving them the words of God, he put a veil over his face. Paul tells us it was so that they wouldn’t see the glory fading. He says, the Law has come to kill us, and the veil, t...herefore, delays the death that we need to come to in order to receive the life that God is willing to give. The veil makes us think we really are pleasing God by our own efforts but it leaves us locked into weakness, futility, condemnation and guilt. The Spirit’s work is to remove the veil by revealing that we are already accepted and approved by God, and so we are free to become more fully ourselves through Christ. Come hear more on this tomorrow and have fellowship together... Blackman's Bay Hall 10am

20.01.2022 God is always up to something more than we know. If we dare to believe that he is up to something more than we know, we can live with a sense of hopeful anticipation, instead of a sense of impending doom. In Genesis 42, a family teeters on the brink of survival. But might the Lord have something more than mere survival in mind? Come hear more this Sunday, and fellowshipping with other believers to praise and worship our wonderful God- 10am Blackman's Bay Hall

18.01.2022 Join us Sunday morning, at Blackmans Bay hall, to praise and worship our awesome God! Have you are been through a time of being misunderstood, of having your motives misjudged and your actions misinterpreted? In Chapter 1 of Second Corinthians, we have a classic case of a misunderstanding that developed between Paul and the church at Corinth. This is a very practical passage in which Paul provides us with a marvellous picture of the spirit in which we ought to handle misunder...standings. If not handled correctly, misunderstanding can lie hidden in the heart; you may think you have dismissed it or forgotten it, but actually it is just festering away, smouldering like a fire that refuses to go out. Sometimes unexpectedly it bursts into flames; you are angry at somebody and you hardly realise why, but it is because something has been left unsettled. Come hear more on this tomorrow...

18.01.2022 Looking forward to tomorrow at 10am at Blackman's Bay Hall to join together to worship and praise! 2 Corinthians 2:12-17 is part of a digression by Paul in which, in the midst of a tremendous sense of failure and despair, we hear him utter a cry of grateful thanksgiving. At the very moment of his frustration he tells us, he is being led in triumph by Jesus Christ. He helps us to see how the victorious Christian life at times involves anguish of heart, deep inner doubts, frust...rations, fears, and yet, confidence that out of it all, there is coming triumph and victory and the fragrance of Jesus Christ to many. We need to understand and believe in the great principle that brought about this sudden reversal in Paul, otherwise sooner or later we will give up doing Christian ministry. Come hear more on this tomorrow... If you miss the service..you can listen to the message by going to our TLC website www.trinitylifechurch.com.au and clicking on the sermon icon.

18.01.2022 Scripture from the Mercury

17.01.2022 Looking forward to gathering tomorrow to praise and worship our wonderful God In the early church times, the Council of Jerusalem was called to debate and agree on a very important matter concerning the gospel. Apostles gathered, there was debate from experience and James shared his point based from scripture. He talks about God building again the Tabernacle of David... Why does James include this in his debate?... Come find out more tomorrow 10am at Blackman's Bay Hall or can listen later by going to our website www.trinitylifechurch.com.au and clicking on sermon icon.

15.01.2022 Tomorrow is Sunday... and already looking forward to coming together to praise and worship our amazing God down at Blackman's Bay Hall 10am:) 2 Corinthians 2:5-11 answers the question of when needed discipline or correction of a person in a congregation should end. The person who had created trouble for Paul and in the church at Corinth, had been loving confronted and now had a change of heart and admitted that their attitude had been wrong. It was time to extend forgiveness and restoring love. We will look at the process of restoration and the threefold promise that we must make in order to fully forgive. ..come hear more from Pastor Leo on this tomorrow.

15.01.2022 If you missed yesterday's message or like to hear it again

13.01.2022 As Christians that God is absolutely sovereign. Everything on this planet is under his control. He is not a distant God who set things into motion and sits back to watch. He is actively involved in the ways of this world. But we also believe that God has given us free will. We can make good choices and bad ones and our actions matter. We are not merely playing out a script that God has written in advance. God is sovereign and we are free. ... We struggle to put those ideas together. As we come to Genesis 41, we're going to see those ideas collide and what that means for our own lives. Looking forward to hearing more this Sunday, and being able to worship together :) 10am Sunday, Blackman's Bay Hall

12.01.2022 Today's text from the Mercury Do everything in love. 1 Corinthians 16:14

10.01.2022 This Sunday at church we have Kathy Rochester visiting and bringing the message. Some of you may know her through her involvement at Calvin School (Stuart taught there full time and Kathy part time). Others may know her through the many Christian musicals she led under The King's Company in the 1980s and Jerusalem Passion 1990s. Some may know that she was a pastor in the Huon and then went overseas to study further and pastor churches in Canada and England. Others may know th...at she and Stuart have been teaching in theological colleges overseas as missionaries and currently teach for a college in the Philippines online. Here's a little from Kathy, on what she will be sharing this Sunday... "I used to hate the book of Jeremiah, because Jeremiah was in so many difficulties and cried so often. I tried hard to avoid it. Until God told me I had a call like that of Jeremiah. I had to look for the gems of hope and life and truth and I found great riches there. I even had to do a PhD on Jeremiah and Ezekiel. God had so much to show me. We'll journey a little with Jeremiah and a little with me, in the hope that God will draw close and speak to us all." Welcome to join us 10am Sunday at Blackman's Bay Hall

09.01.2022 We long and pray for the power of God to be released among us. Second Corinthians, chapter 4 provides us with one of the clearest expressions in Scripture of the process by which that power is released in people. In verses 7-11 of Chapter 4, there is a detailed description of how to exercise the power of God, and verses 12-15 describe how to display the glory of God. Christians are Christian in order to exercise the power of God and display the glory of God in their lives. ...So how do we get it? Here Paul tells us the secret of how we get the power of God in our lives and the impact that can have on others. Come hear more about this, on Sunday morning - 10am Blackmans Bay Hall

05.01.2022 Looking forward to connecting and encouraging each other tomorrow morning as we praise and worship our wonderful Lord and Saviour! If we want to change lives as Paul did, and start people in new directions, to give them liberty and freedom in the midst of guilt and oppression, we are going to have to learn what Paul learned, through a very painful ten-year period after his conversion, in which he transitioned from an old covenant motivation and outlook to the new covenant in which is found a new provision of life and ministry. Come hear more tomorrow morning.. 10am Blackman's Bay Hall :)

01.01.2022 Looking forward to tomorrow to praise and worship together 10am at Blackman's Bay Hall The first six verses of Chapter 4 of 2 Corinthians, answers a lot of questions as to why so many people do not believe the gospel when they first hear it, or even after they have heard it over a long period of time. These verses will answer questions about why many who do believe the gospel quit after they have been walking in the Christian way for some time; and also questions about why some people whom you think will never believe it suddenly do so. Come hear more on this Sunday morning...

01.01.2022 In the passage from Second Corinthians, beginning with Verse 16 of Chapter 4 and running through the opening verses of Chapter 5, the Apostle Paul lifts his eyes from the experience he is going through at the moment to the hope that lies beyond. He gives three great reasons why he has such a hope in relation to our future beyond this life. He describes the nature of our hope. We learn about the "weight of glory beyond all comparison and what it is to be "swallowed up by life." Come enjoy fellowship together and hear more about this on Sunday morning...10am Blackmans Bay Beach Hall
