23.01.2022 #TBT Saturday 5 September marks the 2020 Formal for our Year 12s so we thought it fitting to do a throwback of all our formals from 1999 all the way through to 2019. Hope you enjoy the trip down memory lane and keep an eye out for some teachers, especially those who were once-upon-a-time Trinity students P.S Watch this space on Saturday at 5:30pm for a livestream of all the glitz and glamour as our Year 12s arrive at the event #WeAreTrinity
22.01.2022 ATAR | Class of 2020 received their ATAR results yesterday. These students were the first Year Seven cohort to enter high school, and now the first cohort in QLD to receive an ATAR score in the most challenging and disruptive school year of their schooling lives. They have dug deep and achieved their personal best both individually and collectively. The College is extremely proud of the strong results we have seen so far. Special congratulations to James and Samara for being ...placed in the top 1% in Queensland achieving ATAR 99+. Many of our students who chose the non-ATAR pathway have attained Diplomas and university placements before they even graduated in November! Congratulations Class of 2020! We wish you God’s richest blessings for the next stage of your lives irrespective of your chosen pathway. Dr Tsae Wong, Principal. #WeAreTrinity #PersonalExcellence #HeadHeartHand
22.01.2022 What a truly amazing community we have! Thank you for supporting our Christmas Carols under the Stars last night and making it a beautiful end to a very big school year #WeAreTrinity
21.01.2022 Well done to Year 8 student, Bobby for this thoughtful initiative. #WeAreTrinity
21.01.2022 It was wonderful to recieve this heartfelt messages from our international partner schools in India and France as we celebrate Global Citizenship Week. As part of this initiative, our Year 10 Business students are raising awareness of global issues with campaign t-shirts they designed. They are promoting these in a market they are running at school, with 100% of profits are going to charity. You can support them by getting your favourite T-Shirt on the link below, and to save on postage, you can pick the collection option and we will collect the t-shirt for you if you wish: http://trinitylutherancollege.theprintbar.com/ #WeAreTrinity
20.01.2022 Farewelling all our amazing Year 5 boys and girls as they celebrate the last few days of their journey on our Junior Years campus! #year6herewecome #WeAreTrinity
20.01.2022 It's so fantastic to once again be posting our sports success stories after a COVID-19 created lean period!! Despite an abbreviated athletics season, our keen athletes had an opportunity to compete against their fellow APS schools at the recent Somerset College Invitational Athletics Carnival. It was very gratifying to witness our passionate athletes dust off their spikes to represent Trinity in their chosen events. Many Trinity students claimed top three places in their chosen disciplines, whilst Liana, Siena and Anastasia placed top three in their respective age championships. Special mention to Siena who jumped 1.71m to win the 13 years high jump - YES, she is only 13 years of age!!! This amazing leap was only 4cm away from the QLD record #WeAreTrinity
19.01.2022 Our Junior Years peeps have also enjoyed some awesome activities designed to promote mental wellbeing this week like the Biggest Afternoon Tea and the Year 3 Performing Arts Experience Day on our Ashmore Road Campus yesterday. But a firm favourite was definitely the Staff vs Students Soccer Match!! The competition was fierce, the crowd support strong and the soccer skills sensational (check out some aerials in the photos!!) but the staff team ultimately proved just a tad bit stronger and won the game #WeAreTrinity
18.01.2022 On December 21, 2020, the first Christmas star in nearly 800 years will appear in our sky. A Christmas star appears when Jupiter and Saturn align to create a radiant point of light - Earth hasn’t experienced one this close since March 4, 1226. What an incredible symbol of hope as we end 2020 and head towards a new year. #WeAreTrinity
18.01.2022 #tbt The Inter-house Battle of the Bands is a very big deal at Trinity and a much-loved annual tradition, so today's throwback is a shoutout to some of the awesome performers from way back when...(and if you look very closely you may just spot Mrs Houston, Mrs Hobbs, Mrs Walker-Munro and Mr Breen ) #WeAreTrinity
18.01.2022 Good luck and best wishes to our Trinity Open Girls Touch Football Team who are contesting the prestigious QLD All Schools Championships this weekend. With a number of players from our Middle Years, the future is very bright for our representative Girls Touch Football Team! #WeAreTrinity
16.01.2022 No gender stereotyping at Trinity - boys and girls all cooking, doing design and technology, science experiments and drama during our Year 6 Experience Day - the big smiles evidence of how much fun they all had!! (Big thank-you to our Year 9s for assisting and mentoring our Year 5s on the day and being such great role models) #dowhatmakesyouhappy #readyforthemiddleyears #WeAreTrinity
16.01.2022 Woohoo...with 3 wins from 4 games over the first two days of competition at the State Basketball Championships, our Open Boys Team is bound for the quarter finals today. Well done and our very best wishes for the finals!
15.01.2022 We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give. Winston S. Churchill Last term our Year 8 students focused on the topic of Meaning & Purpose in Christian Studies and looked at the concept of 'Paying it Forward' - the fact that affecting positive change doen't take much, you don't have to be rich, powerful or influential, and that every ordinary person can help to make this world a better place by paying it forward. Although the assessments have been graded... and the unit is over, our students have continued to apply the lessons and values learnt in the classroom to their lives. Paige and Emma spent their holidays giving much needed assistance to an elderly lady in the community. Her husband is in care and a wall on her property was dangerously close to collapsing. Not only did Paige and Emma raise funds for the repairs to the wall, they also volunteered to assist with the repairs during the school holidays. This is Head Heart and Hand in action! Girls, we are so proud of you both #WeAreTrinity See more

14.01.2022 This week we have been shining a light on mental health and wellbeing, and running a plethora of activities designed to keep both staff and students healthy and fit in mind, body and spirit. Activities have included Gratitude Chains placed outside Student Reception, Chalking Up the pathway to the Sports Centre with words of encouragement and faith, serving health-boosting smoothies and snacks at our Pineapple Cafe, guest speakers talking about mental health, a Healthy Eating... workshop and healthy smoothie making in Hospitality, learning to crochet, drama workshops, yoga with Mrs Hanlon, bible study, gym, staff vs student sports matches, dodgeball and so much more. There really has been something for everyone so we truly hope that the start to this very short, sharp and busy final term of 2020 has been uplifting, positive and happy! #WeAreTrinity See more

14.01.2022 How wonderful to enjoy yummy treats with your mates whilst simultaneously supporting a charity as worthy as Cancer Council - our Junior Years Biggest Afternoon Tea yesterday was clearly lots of fun judging by the big chocolately grins (and the minor sugar rushes afterwards )! Big thank-you to Mrs Kennedy for organising this awesome event #WeAreTrinity
14.01.2022 SO good to see a hive of activity happening around the Father's Day stalls on our Ashmore Rd campus yesterday - you are definitely never too old to spoil your dad/grandad/favourite father figure with a fun gift! BIG thanks again to our fabulous P&F for organising the stalls and to all our students who helped with running them - this year was a sell out!!! We would LOVE to see (and then share) some happy snaps of the special men with their spoils on Sunday so please send yours through to [email protected] or just send them to Trinity via FB Messenger #WeAreTrinity #loveourcommunity

13.01.2022 Our Junior Years students were so excited to choose something special for Father's Day at our P&F stalls this morning. The biggest thank-you to our P&F members and the awesome helpers who ran the stalls for us. P.S. Do you reckon Dr Wong would blend right in with the students if she put her hair up and donned a formal dress? - how lucky are we to have such a youthful, energetic and hands on Principal!! #WeAreTrinity
12.01.2022 Chloe is one of our 2020 Strohmeyer House Captains. She and her mum recently gifted our lovely Sandra with these beautiful aprons made by Chloe's 12-year old cousin, Lila as a token of appreciation from the 2020 Year 12s who started on our Junior campus. (Lila sells them so contact Chloe if you are interested in purchasing one) "Sandra is a big part of our memories of primary school especially when our mums volunteered for the day. Sandra allowed us to be the cool kids and ha...ng out in the tuckshop with her and our mums. We will never forget picking up our tuckshop baskets from her and the incredible smell of all the food that we knew was made with love, and we will never forget the smiles she put on all our faces. We hope these aprons will bring some colour and joy to the junior kids and that she will always remember the class of 2008 - 2020" There are unquestionably many many students and parents whose best memories of Trinity include Sandra #WeAreTrinity
11.01.2022 Our Year 10 Business students recently had the opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial skills, pitching their concepts and product ideas to the 'Shark Tank' - one group even brought in corn dogs to share. Students also received the charity campaign t-shirts they designed for our Global Citizenship Week. #WeAreTrinity

07.01.2022 Live performance opportunities for our Trinity performing artists have few and far between in 2020, so the joy of being back on stage for our Performing Arts Showcase in Term 3 was palpable! Unfortunately COVID-19 restrictions precluded our having an audience but you can enjoy the 1-hour video of this event and see some photos of our awesome performers in our latest blog post: https://www.tlc.qld.edu.au/ne/2020-performing-arts-showcase

03.01.2022 2020 has certainly been an interesting and ever-evolving year, and definitely one that has made planning ahead incredibly tricky. We were so fortunate to be able to go ahead with our Year 9 camp given the crazy year our students have had - adventures out in nature away from technology and the stresses of everyday life (especially in 2020) definitely did them the world of good! Enjoy the great write up by Mrs Williams along with all the awesome photos in today's blog post https://www.tlc.qld.edu.au/news/year-9-camp-kokoda

02.01.2022 Did you know that crocheting is actually a magical combination of mindfulness, repetition, focus, creativity, hand movement, productivity and positive social interactions? That's probably why Mrs Haines Lunchtime Crochet Club is proving increasingly popular with both our girls and our boys. #crochetiscool #WeAreTrinity
02.01.2022 If you grew up in the '80s you likely had a box of silkworms at some stage, collected mulberry leaves to feed them and had heaps of fun watching those little worms grow big and fat before finally spinning themselves into a beautiful silk cocoon. Our Year 7s are currently studying the Silk Road in their Ancient China unit so, to bring their learning to life, they have some silkworms in their classrooms and are thoroughly enjoying studying their life cycle and looking forward to spinning some silk. #bringinglearningtolife #WeAreTrinity

01.01.2022 Our performing artists at Trinity continually demonstrate their passion and commitment to their ensembles and this was never more evident than during our Term 2 lockdown period when all their practices and performances had to be done online as part of the Connected Project. The Wind Orchestra performed beautifully under the direction of Mr Simon Petty, playing , The March of the Majestics, which is a bold and stately processional march, full of dignity and character, which ends with a definite regal flourish. Congratulations everyone, you did an awesome job! #WeAreTrinity https://vimeo.com/456038630
