21.01.2022 WAM BAM THANKYOU MAM!!!! What a day to be on the water!! Sunday saw the Triple M boys James Ward and Adam Gillson enlist the help of skiffie powerhouse Ben Bradley whilst Huon is on baby watch. They were served up a tasty nor easter and some serious run out tide chop, boats where getting air time everywhere.... As always the boats who kept it upright in the tricky conditions came away with the goods. The black beast did just that and the boys came away with a 2nd and 4th in t...he two races of the day. The photos from the day from the likes of Christophe Favreau are amazing if you look around his page and the International 18ft Skiff page. The J.J. Giltanans are coming up and with boats from the U.S.A, Europe and the New Zealanders heading our way there is sure to be some exciting racing. "The Island" normally filled with party goers on Sydney harbour is being hired for the event and will form an excellent on water bar to watch the racing from, follow the link below for the details. https://www.facebook.com/Australian18Footers/posts/10156071092814705 If you want to see the action from the weekend get on the replay of the live feed, you won't regret it. https://youtu.be/L0nf5ypAJEU Same time next week guys!!!

21.01.2022 Well gusts of 30 knots pre race saw most of the fleet putting in a first reef and for the light crews it was s good move. With a heavier crew weight and the powerhouse that is Adam Gillson in the middle Triple M put in the full cloth small rig. We had a good first lap but had a swim on the drop which took us out of the top pack. Race two was much more solid with the crew sailing a smooth race but missing a few shifts to bring home a 5th. We had some blinder down wind legs a...nd it was easily the fastest we've been on the Triple M rocket ship! Hats off to Ollie Hartas and Pedro on Ilve who had a blinder finishing with 2nd and 4th for the day taking out 2x 1st on handicap, well sailed boys!!!! It is well worth watching the replay of the live stream for the carnage and air time some of the boat put on display. Follow the link below!!! 2:00 spectator ferry next week. Come see the action unfold on Sydney Harbour. https://youtu.be/VRKLnFIE-tU

15.01.2022 GAME DAY FOLKS!!!! Sydney harbour is looking glorious with a moderate sou-easter. Everyone is slotting the big rigs in and it looks like it'll be a great day in the water. Our trusty sheethand is sipping fruit tingles somewhere in the South Pacific so we've enlisted long time skiffie Ben Bradley to step up. The pre race report is below and the live stream kicks off at 2:25 and the spectator ferry leaves Double Bay at 2:00. James, Huon, Ben ... https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1571504692902835&substory_index=0&id=466615186725130

09.01.2022 Heat 2 delivered thrills and spills. 25-30 knot southerly. The tripple M team got round with a 8th spot without swimming but did go prawning pretty hard at the last bottom mark.. We cought a lot and they are in the fridge and will be selling them for $13.99 a kilo. Big thanks to Peter Mackie who filled in on the bow
