24.01.2022 We are incredibly proud to share the results from the recent government Satisfaction Survey related to our CHC30213 Certificate III in Education Support and the CHC40213 Certificate IV in Education Support Training Programs. After a students nationally recognised training has been completed - both the students and their workplace supervisors are asked to respond to the governments annual satisfaction surveys. The Triscott Certificate III and IV in Education Support training programs have been developed to meet the needs of people who would like to work as an Integration Aide or as a Teachers Assistant.

21.01.2022 Triscott is currently accepting and processing enrolments for the 2017 semester 2 programs. We have programs running at Rowville, Hoppers Crossing, Berwick, Chirnside Park, Essendon, Seymour and Bundoora. Government funding is available for eligible students.

20.01.2022 STAGE 4 UPDATE - TRISCOTT TRAINING COMMENCEMENT PLANS CHC30213 Certificate III in Education Support Following a Triscott meeting this week and the announcement of Stage 4 Restrictions - we acknowledge that we are currently in the situation where we are unable to start our face-to-face programs at the end of August as previously advised.... However, within the current guidelines our proposal is: Semester 2 Enrolments: Induction meetings to be held during week starting September 14 Berwick 14/09/20 Rowville 15/09/20 Chirnside Park 16/09/20 Essendon 16/09/20 Greensborough 17/09/20 Hoppers Crossing 17/09/20 Seymour 18/09/20 Face-to-face training programs proposed to begin during first week of Term 4 2020 (Semester 1 and 2 learners) anticipated to be completed during Term 1 2021 (Semester 2 Learners, only) Sections A and B will be presented during term 4 2020; Section C training in Term 1 2021. At this stage, any qualification that requires a mandatory 100-hour work-placement in a school setting cannot be completed immediately and/or in the near future until our schools reopen.

17.01.2022 The Certificate IV in Education Support program has been developed for people who are currently working as education support workers in school settings. Generally, people entering this program are employed but do not have a qualification. This program assists workers to work towards a relevant qualification while having their current knowledge, skills and competencies updated and formally acknowledged through a flexible assessment process. 17.01.2022 Yes our students are required to pay a minimal course fee for Triscotts Education Support training programs. No our students cannot access free fees for their Education Support training programs with Triscott. As a registered private training organisation (6937) we have access to the governments 2019 up-skilling funding for eligible students but the Victorian government has only offered the separate free fee funding to their TAFE sector.... In 2019, the Victorian government is attempting to lure students to their TAFE facilities for selected qualifications (including education support) by offering free tuition fees. However, the media fails to add that the free fee offer is only available to eligible students and/or to indicate that the students could be responsible for additional fees to cover student services, amenities, materials, assessment, etc. Our private registered training organisations (RTO) - that are highly regulated (by the Victorian government) - have not been provided with the same government support. However, our private RTOs are regulated to uphold quality, ethics and student-centred learning experiences, e.g. to employ industry trained, qualified and experienced trainers and assessors; to provide ongoing and realistic student support; relevant and up-to-date learning materials customised for working in the sector; and to support our students to develop the appropriate skills, knowledge and competencies to gain employment. Remember training is not necessarily more relevant and the quality of RTO graduates is not diminished because the training fee is funded by the government. www.triscott.com.au OR [email protected]
