17.01.2022 Morning to alll those who glean information from my page to then send me emails. My email box is so overrun with crap. this information highway has saved money in advertising and the use of paper but that has been a trade off for a persons time. I have given up on the unsubscribe section. they keep on coming. SO to let you know I am not interested in horoscopes, holidays, phones for a dollar, bitcoin, skincare products, dating services male or female(LOL) I don't... have tinnitus. I dont have time to answer question to win money. this list goes on in the thousands. To all those email stalkers there will hopefully be a law passed soon that will stop you from sending uninvited emails. These emails will be identified for what they are, the destroyers of productivity. If everyone in Australia didn't have to spend an hours each day going through such time wasters the productivity of this country would skyrocket. I'm not suggesting you dont have a platform in this tech age. There could easily be a page where people go if they want to be teased with all your offers. To do my sewing is the most important thing in my life. Alterations and Repairs take time and a lot of patients. Some garments are made with fabrics lighter than tissue paper and are easily destroyed if care is not taken when unpicking them.This is where most of the time is taken up. If I mess up I would have to pay up, with the income from underrated sewing skills which is most often compared with mass production, where a team of people take a week to put a garment onto assembly lines. Only a few people appreciate my level of sewing skills. Since the sewing industry left Brisbane so did the suppliers. Spotlight have the market to themselves in most places around Brisbane and charge mad prices. You cant see colours correctly on line, so it means I have to travel from one supplier to the other. I lost a lot in the laundry fire a couple of years ago and replacing 40 years has been time consuming. and not cheap. Have a happy and productive day. See more

07.01.2022 Hi, I've been busy with all sorts, believe me when I work on a project sitting on this computer and working things out is too tiring. I get screen headache after an hour. I have been tuned into all the political goings on and I don't know if I'm Liberal, Labor or Green. I will have to go onto that Vote Compass and find out. One thing I find hard to do is tell you who I am and where my skills come from. Growing up I loved fashion as does every other person, but then as I grew ...in knowledge of all the processes involved in manufacturer, dye chemicals, business practices I took the environmental side. I don't particularly like to waste clothes and don't see the need to have an abundant of what you don't really need. Clothes are functional and made for comfort, while making you look wonderful. I now mainly use my skill to make just about anything that's practical. I'm no fashion statement, some of my clothes might look a bit out of place, and not fit for high end fashion retail world. Like getting your hair cut it is always easier to look at someone else and do it for them, so it is with altering dresses to suit the size and shape on another person is always easier than on yourself. I have thought I could hire myself out for an "afternoons shopping" with a person, or a group of ladies, go to all their favourite dress shops, try on the dresses and I could advise of what could be done to make that dress one of your favourites. 05.01.2022 Please be advised. Sewing and looking on facebook dont mix. by the time I figure out how to do things on computer I have lost time. Please just give me a ring on my phone, 0408409538 if you need any alterations done. I wont be sewing up anymore dresses from fabric, as the cost of fabric, haberdashery and my hourly wage cannot compete with the price a finished garment can be brought for online. I can always alter the things you have brought online or instore. just remember to get clothes that are slightly larger, as making something small to fit a larger person is much more difficult and expensive. It is always best to phone me arrange an appointment. Bring it round so I can have a look at it, only then can I SEE what can be done. Sorry but long conversations and descriptions on the phone are a frustrating waste of your time and mine.
