24.01.2022 Whilst it is nice to see that the State Government is FINALLY listening to the needs of the community, they are still completely missing the mark! This afternoon the State Government announced that they will commence community consultation around the future of schooling in the Burns Beach District. The fact is, the students and families at Kinross College were promised year 11 & 12 in 2017 by the then Labor Opposition, and our Education Minister this year then told parents th...at it is not a priority of the Government anymore. They just aren’t listening, and are still failing our community. I am fighting for REAL action in our community - keep signing my petition and let’s tell the State Government that we need real, actual action for our families at Kinross College - they deserve better! Sign my petition here petition.org.au/kinrosscollege

24.01.2022 KINROSS STUDENTS DESERVE TO FINISH YEAR 11 & 12 AT KINROSS COLLEGE The State Government promised that they would extend Kinross College to year 11 & 12 back in 2017, now the Education Minister is telling parents that it is NOT a priority of the State Government. This is unacceptable. ... All our community wants is what the State Government promised them in 2017. Let's tell the State Government to honour their commitment and extend Kinross College to Year 11 & 12! Sign my petition here https://www.petition.org.au/kinrosscollege/

22.01.2022 Our community deserves more local jobs! Jobs are key to raising our standard of living and growing our economy. 20.01.2022 When we need to call 000, when our lives depend on it, we need to be confident that lifesaving help is just minutes away. Last Friday afternoon in the Burns Beach electorate however, there was not one single ambulance available for us. This is completely unacceptable and it must be fixed.... Under the McGowan Labor Government, ambulance ramping levels have reached record highs and the failure of investment in our health system by McGowan Government is putting the lives of all West Australians at risk.

19.01.2022 Power bills keep going up and up, in fact WA is the only state where they aren't coming down! That's why the Liberals have announced our Plan for Cheaper Power Bills. We want to see power bills come down not just once, but every bill, every year.... Our Plan is all about giving you choice, which creates competition, drives innovation, and delivers efficiency. Choice makes bills more affordable because providers have to compete for your business. You’ve seen what happened with gas, by introducing choice gas providers have had to work hard for your businesses, offering huge discounts between 35% to 45% off your gas bill. In WA there is no choice for electricity it’s a monopoly. Our power prices are the second highest in the country! Choice not only gives you the power to find the cheapest price, it will also give you the opportunity to look for exciting new providers who can offer clean, green, renewable power options. Importantly, there will be absolutely no sale of Synergy, Western Power or Horizon Power. They will remain in public hands. And the Electricity Safety Net will ensure anyone who doesn’t want to shop around for a better deal will not be financially worse off. Under the Liberals, you will have the power to choose cheaper and greener bills. Find out more www.waliberal.org.au/cheaperbills

18.01.2022 Tomorrow my team and I will be out and about in Burns Beach and Kinross letterboxing to find out what is important to you and your families. Over the last week, I have spoken to so many of you already about how local jobs are important to you and our community, and I want to here from so many more of you! If you see me and my team over the weekend, please make sure you stop us and say hi - we would love to chat with you and keep you updated on how only the Liberals can guarantee that local jobs come first and make the Burns Beach community even better!

18.01.2022 Legacy WA does a fantastic job of supporting veterans’ families who have been left behind. Today they’re located in Ocean Keys Shopping Centre. Buying a bear is a great way to help and raise awareness! So be sure to pop down, and say hello Daisy and Leanne.

18.01.2022 Meth use is a scourge in our community. It destroys the lives of so many Western Australians and their families and sadly too many dealers keep getting away with weak punishments. Zak Kirkup MP and the Liberals WA will deliver the toughest penalties in Australia for meth dealers, making sure that meth dealers face mandatory jail time.... By getting meth dealers off our streets and out of our communities, they won’t be breathing down the necks of their victims, the people who need our help and support to get their lives back on track. On top of our plan to boost the WA Police Force with an extra 1,200 officers, tougher punishments will get meth dealers off the street and away from our families faster. Our families deserve to know that the community they live in is safe from meth and safe from crime. The victims of meth dealers deserve the space they need to get help and take their lives back. 04.01.2022 The Liberals Local Jobs Guarantee will create more opportunities for WA small and family-run businesses, helping the WA economy bounce back quicker and stronger. Under the Liberals Local Jobs Guarantee, "local" means local. Labor's bungled local jobs law has allowed $9 million worth of small business contracts to go over East - these are all contracts that could have benefited WA business and WA workers.... The Liberal Local Jobs Guarantee ensures local means local and will keep local jobs and profits here in WA.
