24.01.2022 One little tumbleweed went out one day, over the dunes and far away I’m singing that in my best mum nursery rhyme kinda voice , three little ducks went out one day tune Sorry if that’s now stuck in your head.... These little dancing tumbleweeds always amuse me, they look like they’ve been left behind and are racing to catch there friends. I feel like that’s what social media is like if you have crappy images, you’re always left behind. 21.01.2022 What is a lifestyle branding photoshoot? It’s a photoshoot where we show you in your daily routine. It can be totally work related or we can add images of you doing out of work activities as well like exercising, entertaining or playing with your kids. It really all depends on the sort of content you require.... It is a shoot that you need at least 2-3 changes of clothing to create more variety in your content. It can be photographed in your work place, your home, your favourite places in your local area or in one of the locations I book each month. We can brainstorm ideas around this together. 21.01.2022 I’m currently obsessed with watching Dream Home Makeover on Netflix. My favourite thing to do is to renovate and style a space so I did have an awesome time last year when I was photographing for @maitlandriversideplaza and I could go to @kmart fill a trolley and style and photograph the products. I’m looking forward to tackling a home renovation of my own sometime this year. I will definitely be taking some inspiration from Shae @studiomageedesign Have you watched Dream Home Makeover ?

12.01.2022 I’m looking forward to photographing the monthly event for @hbwn_ tonight. It’s always at a beautiful venue like the prestigious and very exclusive Newcastle Club, the food and wine are always first class . Each month there is a guest speaker who is always informative, educational, inspirational and often exciting.... Then of course there are around 70 very accomplished woman in the room from an amazing range of occupations and businesses. I meet someone new every month, I learn about someone else’s journey into a fulfilling career and always end the night excited about implementing the things I’ve learned and growing my business a little more . It’s definitely a highlight of my month.

06.01.2022 What a great long weekend, I put my tools down and really relaxed, it was definitely well overdue. I’m feeling excited for the next couple of weeks with some fun shoots coming up with AH-making people of course. I always love working with @becransom5 ... I really am grateful for the the clients I’m attracting into my world, always kind, always inspiring and our shoots always end up great fun, filled with interesting conversations and a few laughs. I only have 3 dates available for this financial year so if a personal branding or a product shoot is something you’re need than get in touch and let’s put our heads together, create a brief and make it happen. 05.01.2022 Today I went on a whale watch with Newcastle’s very own @coast.xp and I can definitely say it didn’t disappoint. Over the weekend I excitedly watched so many whales migrating north just from my usual walking track, so I figured while the sea was flat and the weather was nice and with the whales so plentiful than now had to be the perfect time to get out on the water. Like all photographers I have a bucket list of images I want to capture in my life behind the lens. ... A breaching whale is one of those images. Did I get the shot? Not this time but I did witness it so that was pretty special. The whales were pretty cheek and came up close , even swimming under us at times. It really was a beautiful experience and yes I will be going out again to get that coveted shot . 04.01.2022 Knuckling down this morning to take some action on some new marketing skills I’ve been learning from Mia @campaign_del_mar Having a well planned out strategy is crucial if your going to spend time and/or money on marketing your business. I’m currently on working on things for @style_shoot_social which is where this image comes from. It’s another arm to my business to help ensure my female entrepreneurs have stress free access to great story telling images.... At least I know I have great imagery to tell my brand story Now to perfect my message, know my ideal customer and utilise the right platforms.
