25.01.2022 This seams to be a year of boys for me :) beautiful newborn baby boys And this little bubba was as beautiful as they come!!! While its not quite business as usual the virtual/in home sessions are working out ok, and with the reduction in physical distancing rules coming in soon Im really praying for a return to normal very soon!!! 25.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - The implementation of social distancing and the shutdown of non-essential businesses has hit many business very hard especially small businesses like mine. I am feeling it, my family is feeling it, as are so many of you. It’s a truly saddening time for us all. With all these measures in mind, and the need to keep us all safe as we can, especially the very vulnerable, and I feel as you all would, our babies are the most precious and vulnerable of them ...all !! so for this reason I’m very sorry to announce that on-location mini sessions at 2 Grey Birds and pop up mini sessions in the studio will not be held for the foreseeable future. Your babies and your family’s safety are more import to me than to take the risk!!! Even if we booked session times so we could follow the rules of social distancing between clients interactions there is no possible way that these sessions could include enough sanitary measures between clients to be safe, every item used during the session would need sanitising as would everything within a 2 metre radius and it would need to be left for a minimum of 30 minutes afterwards as well. During the sessions I myself could not come closer to you than 2 m, how could I try to ensure a good photographic outcome if I do that?? Please take care, we have worse to come and if I can in anyway help any of you in this hard time please get in contact. I will miss my baby cuddles you can be assured of that, but it is the only responsible thing a photographer can do. Trish

22.01.2022 Ohh my goodness how beautiful is this baby girl !!! She is so blessed as she has two adorable big brothers to love and protect her, always . They travelled such a long way to the studio and were so sweet and helpful with their sister :) Thanks you mum and dad for coming all this way again, I'm so glad we got this done in-between restrictions!!

21.01.2022 That first year goes by so very quickly, it really is worth celebrating!!! This happy bubbly little boy was actually one when we were on restrictions and had border closures, it was wonderful to celebrate with him just a little bit belatedly here in the studio with a cake smash session

His older siblings love him so completelyas does his mummy and daddy :) He was a super star for his session, he didn't let out a single peep as he slept the whole way through!! 20.01.2022 its just one week till I'm back at 2 Grey Birds for the next on-location mini session. It's getting cooler in the mornings and evenings as Autumn is nearly here... the next theme therefor is Autumn!!! I love this time of year and I particularly love the colours in the foliage I will be in store between 10 am and 12 noon this Friday the 6th of March and I hope to see lots of you there.

16.01.2022 This little poppet was born on Australia Day :) I wanted to celebrate this fact with the family in a photograph in some way. It has been such a devastating start to the year for our country, fires that have ravished the countryside and all the animals that have perished along with homes and livelihoods. This backdrop spoke to me with the gum leaves and the koala, there is always hope and Australians are wonderful people who come together in a crisis which is also worth celebrating.

16.01.2022 I had a totally wonderful day in the studio on Saturday :) photographing the most perfectly beautiful and well behaved newborn baby girl and her equally beautiful and well behaved big brother and sister !! 14.01.2022 Ohh what a tumultuous week it has been!!! I have had a biter sweet evening processing this little bubbas newborn photos he is just so beautiful and the session was such a joy, I hope it is not the last. It is an honour to be chosen to capture these precious fleeting moments for this family just as it has been over the past 10 plus years for the hundreds who have passed through my studio. 11.01.2022 This special little poppet is the bran new grandson of a good friend of mine :) It was very special to share this joy with her and her daughter at his newborn portrait session!!! he was a super star model and so good for me the whole time enjoy this preview of your beautiful little boy!!

11.01.2022 Are you expecting a baby whilst we are under physical distancing restrictions?? The Covid-19 pandemic has interrupted all our lives, I’m so saddened by all the new babies being born with such heavy controls being enforced in birthing suites, maternity wards and visitors for the new mum and bub. It really is tough times; but I do believe some restrictions are needed to keep venerable individuals as safe as we possibly can. I am a newborn photographer; it is more than ‘what I d...o’ it is something I’m very passionate about, the newborn baby stage is so fleeting, and we need to celebrate and capture these moments!! For the last 2 weeks or so I have been working on a way to work with my clients that I have booked for newborn sessions and begun implementing ‘in-home’ and ‘Virtual Newborn Sessions’. A collaboration between parents and myself for preparing and photographing newborn images and then post processing handled fully by myself to perfect all the photos. All 'In home' and ‘Virtual Newborn Sessions’ will come with simple video tutorials on posing, lighting, wrapping etc I will also make available my camera and studio equipment including all blankets, props/wraps ect for use while following the strictest sanitising measures, as always, before and after. 06.01.2022 COVID-19 The message we have been given is clear, ‘stay at home unless it’s absolutely necessary’ and ‘all non-essential services are to close’ from midnight tonight the 25th of March. As much as I would like to believe that photography is a necessity, it is classified as non-essential. As a non-essential service, I'm closed FOR NOW Hopefully if everyone acts responsibly and sticks to these restrictions’ things can return to normal quickly and then I will see you all on the other side of this crazy.... This will affect all of us. We will struggle BUT, we will get through. in the meantime, I've got some client work to catch up on, and I’ll treasure it while I’m doing it Stay well and stay your distance.
