25.01.2022 Hi everyone just a quick post to let you know that the 2021 SHANE DOHERTY MEMORIAL Tri-State Masters will be taking place this year from the 16th of May until the 21st of May. The Entry forms will be available from the 7th of February. It will be emailed out to all on the Tournament data base. If you haven’t played the Tournament before and would like an Entry form please email [email protected] so we can forward one to you. Should for reasons due to Covid-19 restrictions or sudden border closures take place before the 16th of May,2021 a $50 administration fee will be charged and all other funds paid will be refunded. 23.01.2022 There is a change to the golf courses being played during the 2020 SHANE DOHERTY MEMORIAL Tri-State Masters. The first course being played on Monday the 18th of May is Mildura Golf Resort, the second course on Wednesday the 20th of May is Riverside Golf Club and the third and final course on Friday the 22nd is Coomealla Golf Club. There is also a change on the Tuesday social 4BBB which will now be played at Red Cliffs Golf Club and the Ambrose in 4’s remains at Coomealla Golf... Club on the Thursday. I have this evening emailed out Entry Forms and other information so if you haven’t received the email please send me an email and let me know or give me a quick call on 0408310532. The Entry form and all other information is now on the website www.sunraysiagolftours.com.au. If any of your friends who usually receive the Entries in the mail, if they don’t have the internet or email, will receive theirs by the end of the month. 21.01.2022 The 2019 SHANE DOHERTY MEMORIAL Tri-State Masters was now over 3 months ago - time is just flying. Here are a couple more photos from the Tournament and as promised I will now be sorting a drop box link to send to all of the participants. Congratulations to Jenny Stephenson and Leigh Fuller again on being the 2019 SHANE DOHERTY MEMORIAL Tri-State Masters Champions. Also congratulations to the Team Winners Maureen Connor, Bob Parker, Margaret & Garry Johnson who were all f...rom Kiama Golf Club. Presentations were also made to 5 Year badge recipients Kerry Aanensen, Peter Johnson, Lyn Mayne Justin Morison, Gary Shandley, John & June Sherer, 10 Year Plate recipients Tony Romania, Manya Wittingslow, Richard & Julie Payne and Cyril and Wilma Saunders, 20 Year Medallion recipient David Gardiner and 25 Year Trophy recipient Jeffrey Balmer. 19.01.2022 Hi everyone my previous post mentioned that Entry forms for the 2021 SHANE DOHERTY MEMORIAL Tri-State Masters would be available to be emailed out and posted on the website www.sunraysiagolftours.com.au on the 7th of February, 2021. Unfortunately there has been a slight delay in finalising the Entry form and 4 page brochure but hopefully everything will be sorted and out by the 14th of February and perhaps, with a bit luck, even a little before then. 11.01.2022 Tournament Director Kym has sent out the final group this afternoon at Coomealla Golf Club Another amazing week of golf and friendship is coming to an end. Looking forward to a great night tonight for the Presentation Dinner at the Coomealla Memorial Sporting Club Auditorium.

08.01.2022 Happy New Year. Preparation for the 28th SHANE DOHERTY MEMORIAL Tri-State Masters is well underway and Entry Forms will be available mid January 2020 to be downloaded from www.sunraysiagolftours.com.au . If you would prefer the Entry form emailed to you please send your email address to [email protected]. The dates for the 2020 Tournament are 17th to 22nd of May. The Tournament always commenced on the 3rd Sunday in May each year which is the Sunday after Mother’s Day. There are a couple of new evening social events this year including a 4 course Italian meal at the Pizza Cafe and a 5 course meal at Stefano’s. What an amazing response there has been this year with so many golfers and their non playing partners and a large number of ‘first timers’ keen to head to beautiful Sunraysia to play the 28th running of Tournament and to also join in the amazing social activities available. The Trentham Estate Tournament Wines this year are ‘The In-laws’ Pinot Gris and ‘The Mother-In-Law’ Bin 28 Pinot Noir. 07.01.2022 CORONAVIRUS UPDATE To all those who have already entered the 2020 SHANE DOHERTY MEMORIAL Tri-State Masters and all those planning too or still making up their mind, the current situation is that the Tournament will still be going ahead as planned albeit with some changes involved particularly with regard to the Social Programme, at this point in time. This is a fluid situation. I am closely monitoring all decisions/directions regarding planned events during these unprecedente...d times and will continue to update and advise on the future of the 2020 SHANE DOHERTY MEMORIAL Tri-State Masters based on Federal and State Government requirements and decisions. Health and safety is of utmost priority. A final decision as to whether to proceed or not will be made on the 17th of April, 2020 the day the Tournament entries close. Should the decision be to cancel the event all moneys paid will be refunded in full. If you have been planning to enter but have been waiting on a decision Re: this situation it would be greatly appreciated if you could send your entries in so that I have a better idea of numbers I am dealing with because if the Tournament is cancelled you will receive a full refund. I will continue to update over the next month. 02.01.2022 2020 SHANE DOHERTY MEMORIAL Tri-State Masters - Coronavirus Update As mentioned in my previous post in March 2020 regarding the 2020 SHANE DOHERTY MEMORIAL Tri-State Masters to be held in May and the Covid19 Pandemic, it is with great regret that this year’s Tournament has been CANCELLED. The danger to people’s health and well being and the closure of many State borders, Function facilities and golf courses left no other option. There will be no postponement to October, 2...020. All Entry moneys to the Tournament will be refunded or alternatively be transferred to the 2021 SHANE DOHERTY MEMORIAL Tri-State Masters from the 16th - 21st of May 2021, whichever is preferred. Even ‘the Big Fella’ couldn’t have sorted this one and he told me previously ‘it’s only the weather you can’t control’ Stay Healthy and Stay Home.
