06.01.2022 RULE OF THE WEEK 18. AFL RULE (MEN’S & WOMEN’S ONLY) 18.1. If the attacking team puts a kick into the in-goal area and a member of that team catches that ball on the full landing in the in-goal area, this will be deemed a try. The catcher must be on-side when the kicker kicks the ball.... 18.2. What is important is that the person catching the ball lands in the in-goal. (i.e. they can leap from the field of play). 18.3. The ‘mark’ must be a clean catch. If the ball touches another player’s hands etc when it comes down, the AFL Rule does not apply. Who is giving this a try this week?

06.01.2022 Volunteer Appreciation Post Meet Carissa - you may have seen her around down at the club helping out Carissa is a Touch Rugby League star in her own right, winning a TRL Australian Championships in 2018 and representing Rest of the World and United Kingdom in the TRL World Cup.... Carissa is currently on the road to recovery from Myasthenia Gravis (MG), a condition affecting the muscular and nervous systems. A tribute to Carissa's dedication, even though she can't currently play, Carissa still regularly makes it down to help out and stay involved with TRL Logan. Those that know and have played with Carissa will tell you that she is dedicated, loyal, talented and a great leader. A team mum and an inspiration to many that know you. We may have some superstar players on the field, but our people behind the scenes are every bit as important. Say hi next time you see Carissa around at Gould Adams Park.
