10.01.2022 To our Valued Clients, Trojan Group Covid-19 Update OUR COMMITMENT TO OUR CLIENTS & PERSONNEL.... As you would all be aware the situation on COVID-19 is evolving day by day. The Trojan team is working hard to find the facts and take reasonable and proactive measures to minimise risk wherever we can. The latest advice from the federal government is that construction sites are regarded as essential services and will be exempt from mandated shutdowns. Regardless, with heightened levels of uncertainty amongst our industry workforce and wider community, we want to ensure best practices are followed. To allow continuity of work, we are committed to providing all our staff a safe working environment with stringent control measures in place to minimise any risk of Coronavirus spreading. The Trojan office administration team have been immediately directed to work from home to reduce the numbers of personnel in our offices and potential for exposure. Control measures and additional policies, technology, hardware & financial assistance have been supplied to our administrative employees to ensure the continuity of work and communication is maintained; additional control measures taken for our administration include our office layout that has been modified to ensure optimal space and Social Distancing is achieved with the select key personnel still attending. We have been running this model for over a week now and have no resulting issues or correspondence errors and believe that the measures taken will provide the infrastructure for ongoing and uninterrupted project administration. Additionally, we have closed our offices to retail and public interface for an undisclosed period and only offer orders via our Website and Email portals. Our Project & Site Managers are now working with strict policies including reduced community interface and company directives relating to on site meeting requirements; it is being considered that outdoor meeting scenarios are enforced where permissible as to avoid indoor and confined exposures. Trojan onsite personnel are being equipped and educated with all the necessary measures to maintain best practice and hygiene standards, including: Social distancing: Following the Queensland Health directive all personnel are required to maintain a Maximum 1 person per 4m and minimum 1.5m distance between each person. Lunch sheds & Site Amenities: We would ask that our Clients providing site amenities look at the possibility of alternative outdoor covered areas for regimented lunch breaks, allowing social distancing policies to be maintained including Regular anti-bacterial cleaning of site sheds, toilets and amenities. Hand sanitizer: Trojan have and will continue to provide our onsite staff hand sanitizer for continued usage. Regular updates: Trojan will provide all our employees with Health authority updates direct from credible sources as they are released and are vigilant to deliver the messages without the media spin. Symptoms: A strict policy has and will continued to be enforced that any Trojan Group personnel experiencing symptoms will be required to firstly contact management from home and prior to any arrival at site where possible and directed to contact their local doctor for medical advice. If symptoms are exhibited during the course of the working day, they will be directed to leave site immediately and any necessary decontamination protocols and acknowledgement communications will follow. We would additionally ask any Clients or Subcontractors that have other workers in self isolation or have been diagnosed are to notify Trojan of their names and attendance dates so that Trojan are able to make informed decisions with the Health & Safety of our Staff. All the above measures are preventative and will assist & allow the continuity of work that everyone is needing during this time. The Trojan Management team will also make themselves available to assist with workforce planning moving forward and the implementation of any further preventative measures. Once again, we reiterate our commitment to the health and well-being of our valued Employees, Clients, Subcontractors, Suppliers and Community. It is our belief that our heightened measures & proactive approach will ensure that Trojan will be able to offer an integral continuity of available workforce and maintain our ambition to be a continued valuable and dependable resource for all contracted and project works available for completion. With that said in the event of risk profile changes, we will have no hesitation in acting accordingly, shutting down sites for interim periods if necessary and re-establishing sites with alternate staff members; with consideration it is our opinion that Trojan will be able to control and maintain established and experienced working staff throughout this period of uncertainty. It would be greatly appreciated if our Clients assist us in achieving the adopted control measures during this time and look at implementing stringent control measures of their own sooner rather than later. Last but not least, Trojan Group have significant stock levels of both Sleepers and Steel Posts and Equipment and skilled personnel readily available to complete any projects that are available.
