From Monday 27 July a face cove...ring will be required when visiting Perisher premises including arriving and departing the resort in car parking facilities, while using lifts, on Skitube and shuttle buses, in public places, and while skiing and snowboarding. An appropriate face covering can include a neck buff, balaclava, facemask or similar and should fit closely around your mouth and nose and allow for breathing without restriction. 12.01.2022 This weekend will see huge snowfalls in excess of 70cm and possibly over a 100cm of snow from Friday to Monday morning. CAUTION ON ROADS IS ESSENTIAL THIS WEEKE...ND. If you don't need to travel in the mountains, avoid the alpine roads and area this weekend. The weather will be extremely cold and blizzards creating wind chill well below zero. The NSW Police Force today issued a warning for the roads and also for visitors. Monaro Police District Commander, Superintendent Paul Condon, is also reminding the community that ‘snow play’ is not permitted during the 2020 snow season in the resorts due to COVID-19. Any visitors to the National Park will need to either have a valid lift pass from a ski resort or have a trip intention form lodged with the National Parks and Wildlife Service for the purpose of back country hiking, skiing or snow shoeing. Transport for NSW have been TURNING PEOPLE AWAY on the Kosciuszko Road on recent weekends if you do not have a lift ticket or Trip Intention Form.
