22.01.2022 Garden lighting is a must in all Balinese/Tropical style gardens. It Brings your garden to life at night check out these lights throughout one of bali's beautifull resorts. Garden lights are all low voltage in making them very easy to install. I manly use 20/35watt halogen globs or pond lights that can be submerged if needed. Depending on how many lights you install depends on how bigger transformer you need to run the lights, for example if you have x10 lights at 20watt eac...h you will need a 200+watt transformer. I also like to put timer switches on my garden lights & you can set them to how long you would like them to stay on for at night for eg 2,4,6,8 hours. As soon as it gets dark the switch on automatically. I also have my water feature on a timer as well. It saves me going out each night and turing them all on. 20.01.2022 Here is another plant I like to use when choosing the right plants for my customers down here in Melbourne. The variegated shell ginger does really well reaching around 1.8m in height it can easily be divided to make multiple new plants, needs light to keep the variegated colours otherwise the leafs will go green. I find it keeps its colour all year round even during winter months. The variegated ginger is great for a mid sized understory plant underneath your taller palms. It also produces awesome shell like flowers during the warmer months once the plant is matured. www.tropicalbackyards.com.au
