Other waste like produce stickers, tea leaves, wet-wipes an...d coffee grounds also contribute to these disgusting blobs known as fatbergs. They are rancid, horrendous things and costly to clear! You can help avoid these blockages by using a sink strainer and pouring cooking oils and fats into a sealed container and placing it in your rubbish bin. If you still need convincing, watch this video out of London, where workers had to clear 130 tonnes of putridness blocking a sewer line!
