20.01.2022 Spring Adds New Life & New Beauty to All That is!!
18.01.2022 NO NEED TO SELF-ISOLATE FROM NATURE So, you’ve been busy out there in your garden, whiling away some time by tidying up & getting rid of those pesky weeds. With everyone in lock-down mode, due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, it would seem there is no better time to be an avid gardener, or even a novice one. Autumn has delivered cooled-down ground-soil, & there’s no better time to plant up a herb &/or vegetable garden, here in the tropical north, so now you could really let thos...e green-thumbs shine! A herb-garden of basil, coriander, garlic, parsley or chives, as well as a fruit & vegetable gardens with beans, beetroot, cabbage, capsicum, cauliflower, celery, corn, cucumber, melons, lettuce, potato, pumpkin, rhubarb, tomato or zucchini will indeed add some self-sufficiency to your self-isolation, along with some health-benefits as well. Enjoy your connection with Mother Nature; she’s reported as being very beneficial to our health and well-being. Happy gardening wishes to all, from the Cairns Tropical Gardening Club.

16.01.2022 SEMI-SELF-ISOLATION CONTINUES With the Coronavirus Pandemic "Lock-Down" being lifted a little & with such gorgeous Autumn weather at our disposal, a short drive or a picnic near the ocean is an absolute must. Spending time throughout the day connecting with nature increases our ability to feel safe, well & grounded.... Meanwhile, at home, we can continue to enjoy time in our gardens ...... cultivating calmness, sowing serenity & propagating positivity. Both our well-being & our plants will thrive; the ultimate goal of wonderful "Mother Nature"! Happy gardening wishes to all, from the Cairns Tropical Gardening Club.
