12.01.2022 In 2020 I work very differently as an agent to when I started my real estate career in 2003. Back then I would sit at the office all day and wait for a walk in or the phone to ring and go home at 5:00pm on the dot. These days I’m not ashamed to say I stay at home regularly like today and mow the lawns, do the washing, take calls and reply to emails as they happen on the run and then jump on the phone call when it comes in for my next appointment. It doesn’t mean you can’t rea...ch me or i am lazy, in fact I’m more available working this way than ever and I’m making much better use my time. The world has changed with Covid and as agents we need to more adaptable to meet the needs of the consumer after hours 24/7 and not sit at a desk all day. Today Is a classic example where I didnt get to the office till 5:00pm but still managed to exchange contracts on one of my properties by 7:00pm #winning #workmyownhours #worksmarternotharder
