24.01.2022 We are RE-OPENING ! Friday 15th May from 12 noon, in keeping with the NSW Government restrictions relaxations.... Please watch below video which contains new procedures and information for hire kart customers AND private karters. All sessions will be limited to a maximum of 10 people, including hire and private karters, and all must be booked and prepaid online. We do not take over the phone bookings, and random show ups may be denied entry if the health imposed capacity of the track is reached. Further announcements will be made about our special limited time offers to hire kart customers, so stay tuned folks. In the meantime, please watch our video below:

24.01.2022 Hey. AKRA karters. The weather looks like storms and showers all afternoon from 12 noon onwards for Saturday . If that happens track gets flooded we won’t race anyways. Waste of a day. 13.01.2022 Hey Race Goers - This Sunday June 28, we are holding our first Post-Covid19-Restrictions-Lift Race Meeting ! (What a mouthful). We have to remain COVID safe. Please observe these rules and guidelines:... 1. Everyone entering the facility needs to have a COVID19 Health Registration in the Club House. This includes all Drivers, Pit Crew, Family Members and Friends attending the event. Please do this as soon as you arrive and BEFORE unpacking your trailer. 2. Anyone found in the pits without wearing a green health check wristband will be asked to leave. Fees paid are not refunded or transferable. 3. Please separate your pit space to be at least 1.5m from your neighbour. 4. Please observe social distancing and do not hand shake, hug or kiss fellow competitors or officials . Remain 1.5m distance from others 5. There will be a Drivers Briefing and we request ONLY Drivers to attend and observe 1.5m distancing. 6. Due to the current circumstances evolving in Melbourne we ask any attendees who have been to Melbourne in the last 14 days to NOT attend the meeting (sorry!), or bring evidence of a negative COVID9 test result taken within 3 days before the event. Let's keep everyone safe so we have a successful meeting and we can do it again in July ! See you trackside !

05.01.2022 URGENT UPDATE - AKRA Easter Nats move to Wollongong With only 8 days to go before the Racing starts at the AKRA Australian National Championships. a tough decision has been made to move the event to AKRA's home Track Wollongong Kart Raceway https://www.facebook.com/Wollongong-Kart-Raceway-1953234454988572/... Red tape has popped up in the last few days that has put the whole event at risk. Troy Boldy from AKRA said that they were trying to help the Orange Kart Club get some extra karters back to the great Track at Orange but for some last minute Red tape issues it was best to move the event to the popular Kembla Grange Track at Wollongong. This gives the karters already planning to Race The Easter Nats the most time possible to make changes they have to, as some of us have made bookings we need to cancel now. It really is unfortunate and it's no ones fault but the risk was too high for a total cancellation of the meeting mid to late next week. AKRA would still like very much to have a major event at Orange Track in the future maybe later this year but the tough decision had to be made now. The Easter Nats will now be held at Kembla Grange Track Wollongong on Easter Saturday April 20th. Same classes for Yamaha J, Clubman, 4 stroke, TAG, Open.
