24.01.2022 #Reminder #Superannuation For those with employees, a reminder that the Superannuation Payments are technically due next Saturday 28th January. The due dates usually line up with the Activity statement dates, but we dont get that luxury for January (December BAS is due at the end of February).... However, with the 28th not being a weekday, the payments are actually due on Monday 30th. Australian accounting software is SuperStream compliant & can export an ABA file for you to upload to your banking system, or you can use a Superannuation Clearing House, such as a retail fund or the ATOs own, which can deduct the money from your account. If you use an accountant or bookkeeper, they can assist you with this if you need help. ****For those taking advantage of Australia Day being on Thursday next week to have another LOOOONG weekend, you may need to process this by Wednesday to make it on time. The ATO are VERY particular about this & can charge penalties for late lodgement & payment, so best to set it up & do it right to keep the money in your business rather than paying extra money to the tax man!! #ethicalentrepreneur #globalinfluencer

23.01.2022 Are you always struggling to get extra money in the bank & bills just seem relentless? The fact is, most people in small business pay for things in the following order; Staff... Suppliers Bills Themselves - if theres any left!! When I was young, my uncle gave me a book to read - The Richest Man in Babylon. You may have heard of Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, or Just, Zig Ziglar & Warren Buffett They are all Titans of the financial literacy world & the all have a simple message, amongst all of their other amazing thoughts - you have to pay yourself first!! Otherwise, how do you pay for the food on the table & the house to live in? Now, granted, a lot can be said for people living outside their means, but at a fundamental level, the first step is to work out what you need to "exist", & make sure you get that amount every week or month. How do you do that? Be proactive with money, not reactionary. Have a budget - know whats coming in & out & when. Have a bank account that you can put money into each week for car rego, rates, repairs & even Christmas!! Paying extra off your credit card & loans, if you can. On $60k a year, I paid off a $12k credit card balance, $5k off my car loan & a $3k diamond ring for my fiance - still with enough to pay rent & eat!! Its possible!! Think about what you could do if you only had GOOD debt - debt that was working for you, like a mortgage or investment. You make the decisions regarding how much you have & how you spend it. What sort of decisions are you making? Do you need help in getting "on track", whatever that means for you? Then talk to someone & make some small changes today that can make a big difference long term. ***This is not financial advice, just thoughts & sharing of experience. 19.01.2022 Do you know how to Google??? Sounds like a silly question, I know, but seriously, there could be a way to Google better. I have spoken to a few people recently who have had trouble trying to find information on a topic that is relevant & not random - especially if the information is likely to be on a particular site.... Say you want to look up Superannuation on Annual Leave on the FairWork website. You could Google it & come up with a list of results. You could use the websites own search bar, but it isnt great, because it could give you results with any of those words in the search terms. I shared this two little tips with them & thought I would share it with all of you as well; _____________________ 1. Absolute rule - If you are looking for a specific term, put quotation marks on either side, ie: "Superannuation on Annual Leave" & it will only give you results for sites where that exact phrase exists. _____________________ 2. Search a particular site - if you search like this, Google will only search the particular website you are interested in; "Superannuation on Annual Leave" site:www.fairwork.gov.au _____________________ It is important that you put a space after your search term, then the word site & the colon & the website all together with no spaces for this to work. I have used these search methods sooooo many times in study & in work situations & has saved me countless hours trolling through irrelevant results.

Love sharing my knowledge with people in network marketing - its an amazing opportunity for people to get in to business with relatively low out of pocket costs & has the opportunity to result in great success if treated like a business & not just a past time
