Most young people... use the internet as a primary source of information and it’s letting them down. The Relationship Ready parent/carer pack supports you to talk to your children early and encourage behaviours that will support their safety and wellbeing into the future. 14.01.2022 The impacts of childhood trauma are often more extreme and diverse than adult trauma. This is because a child’s brain is still developing. This means that they process information about the world, other people, and themselves in a different way. If you would like to know more, follow this link to the Blue Knot Foundation.
12.01.2022 What is sexual assault? Myth: Girls and women ask to be sexually assaulted by the way they dress and behave. Fact: Women and children of all ages, cultures and backgrounds are sexually assaulted. Women may dress in a way to attract or to feel good about themselves but that is different to asking to be sexually assaulted. This is like saying that someone wants to be robbed because they have money in their wallet. To find out more, visit: https://buff.ly/2GrqAl5 #SVAM2020 #sexualviolenceawarenessmonth
