09.01.2022 A player recently bought in this great example of how not to treat a golf shaft Graphite shafts need to be handled with specialised equipment, skill and care to avoid catastrophic failures like this one. The expensive shaft was made worthless when it was pulled from a driver head. If you want a graphite shaft removed from a club head, make sure its done by a properly trained Clubmaker with the appropriate equipment. If youre buying a used graphite shaft that was pulled from a club head, be cautious.
