13.01.2022 Being in Melbourne and Sydney at this time is really eye opening. The pain and sorrow of everyone we speak to is the first topic of conversation. Then comes the anger at bad management by the government and a lack of backburning. A wish to help out. Many have relatives or friends staying with them. Melbourne was just a haze yesterday and there is a quiet vibe throughout the city. Thank you to the huge amount of people acting to support the people, animals and environment affected. The healing process for something this big will be so long. I have faith that people of all races, religions and back stories will pull together and take care of each other. I hope you and your family are safe.

02.01.2022 I am absolutely delighted to have designed and documented this community conscious, farm to table cafe in Bishops Stortford in the UK! This project required working closely with the proprietors (via skype meetings and email) to ensure the needs of both cafe staff and bakers were met elegantly and efficiently, while remaining within the budget and meeting some tight timelines. This tenancy, with its traditional, narrow street frontage but lovely depth and high ceilings require...d a well thought-out solution to ensure patrons enjoy a welcoming, cosy atmosphere and can always find somewhere to sit and enjoy the incredible food, while staff still have ample room to prepare, serve and do all the things that they do best. Now it's over to the passionate owners with their vision for creating a place where the people of Bishops Stortford can come to connect and enjoy excellent quality, local food and coffee.
