25.01.2022 If you've ever wondered what exactly it is that I do, and who for, this might help. Business Fundamentals. Who do I work with? Who are my ideal clients?... People who are not getting (emotional) reward for effort in life, which leaves them feeling confused and frustrated. Their effort can't be questioned, they're just not getting the level of happiness they want or expect. Whats worse, they don’t know WHY they feel the way they do, or HOW TO FIX IT. The one single problem that I solve. Improving peoples happiness in life. They’re already giving it 100%, and not getting what they want or expect (emotionally speaking). They’ve done all the things society suggest will make them happy, and they are still not happy, and what’s worse, they have no idea how to fix it. What is the destination I offer? Contentment. Which feels like (in a few words) a satisfying rewarding peaceful version of happiness, that replays over and over. The path? The 2 step contentment method. Meet in a healthy way our human needs (both physical and mental) in a way that celebrates the individual in all of us. Because we are all unique, our version of contentment will also be unique and can only be found by understanding who we are on a deep level.
19.01.2022 The people that get the most from what I do answer no to the following questions. In terms of happiness, do you feel like you're getting 'reward for effort' day to day. If money was no problem, would you still work in the same job youre in now.... What were your answers?
18.01.2022 Its said, that 75% of people are unsatisfied and unfulfilled in their jobs. Think about your own job for a moment. How do you feel about it? If money was no longer a problem, would you still be doing it? Do you spend more time thinking about how you could avoid not going to work, or about the exciting things you'd like to implement when you get there? For most of my adult life i was in this category. I had something like 9 jobs in 15 years as i swapped and changed in a big ga...me of 'trial and error', trying to escape feeling dissatisfied, and find the job that would make me feel something that vaguely resembled happy in the workplace. And eventually i did. The job(s) im in now (i have two that compliment each other) ive been in for 5 years (longest ever for me). Im happy with them, and wont be leaving anytime soon. So what was the turning point? With the help of a very wise individual, I studied who I am, uncovering a lot of information about myself, but most importantly what my 'triggers for happiness' are (other wise known as values) and what is personally rewarding to me. And by combining the two with my interests i was able to pinpoint the job that suited me best, was rewarding, and had me feeling good at the end of the day, instead of hating life. 06.01.2022 Sometimes it can feel like, in terms of life satisfaction, that we are not getting reward for effort. We’re giving it 100%, but it doesn’t seem to matter what we do, we just can’t reach a level of happiness that we want, or more importantly expect. If you observe that feeling a bit more closely, what you might find is that it consists of a couple different parts. 1) confusion, because you don’t know WHY you’re not as happy as you want to be, (after all, you’re giving 100%)..., and 2) uncertainty, because you don’t know what to do to fix it or improve it, and no doubt you’ve tried a lot of stuff. And if this goes on for long enough you can add hopelessness to this list, because you’ve been trying for so long, and there doesn’t seem to be an answer. And this is the point people get to when they settle, wrongly accepting this is how it is, and that’s how they live the rest of their lives, never having life be as good as it could be. But the truth is there is an answer. There is a body of information available that is the combination of research by world leading human behaviour specialists, psychologists, and people influencers that explains how to build a happy and contented life. The problem is that an out of date school SYSTEM doesn’t teach it, and as a result, this type of information is usually only accessible to high performers elite athletes, business people etc etc. However, I was lucky enough to be exposed to it a few years ago, purely by chance, when I met one of Australias leading performance coaches, and have enjoyed learning it over the last 4 -5 years, and applying it to my life. 05.01.2022 Life. Tricky at best, where even just a poor nights sleep is enough to make you want to not participate for the day. And with no users manual to guide us from school leaving age and beyond, we are left largely to our own devices, with only the help (how helpful it is?) of societies messages, to fend for ourselves to forge a happy and satisfying life. And what results CAN at times feel like a haphazard, confusing game of trial and error, where we get consumed by 'the daily gri...nd', never really sure if we are getting any closer to happiness, because most of the time we don't know what we want or are working towards. And the overall feeling can be that we are not getting reward for effort, and whats worse is, we don't know what to do to improve on it. Like I said, tricky at best. But its not all doom and gloom, because there is a solution. The good news is there is kind of a 'users manual', a body of information, for building a satisfying and contented life, but its the type of information usually only accessed by elite business people, CEO's and sports people. However, I was lucky enough to be exposed to it a few years ago when I met a guy called Nam Baldwin, a leading performance coach in Australia, coach of multiple World Champion sports people, and coach to many leading business people.
