Land our dream job Weigh a certain number on the scale But friend, none of those things determine our worth. Our worth is found in who God says we are. And He defines us as His children who were made in His image. 1 John 3:1 says, See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! Our worth is found in the way God loves us. Not in who we know, what we accomplish or how we look. When we begin to understand that our worth comes from God and not from the world, we are free to live life without always trying to be perfect. We are free to work hard without attaching our worth to the outcome of our efforts. We are free to be ourselves around those we love without begging for their approval. We are free to live a healthy lifestyle without being defined by a number on the scale. When we live from our worth in Christ, we are free from finding our worth from the world.
