22.01.2022 History repeats all the time. How we choose to respond is key. The new way asks for us to change our reaction and responses to one from heart centred reality. Get out of your head and into your heart. A simple ‘what would my highest self, or my heart space self, do in this scenario?’ And lean into it. Notice the relaxing of the body, a softening. 21.01.2022 How powerful is this! So relevant when we look at clearing past traumas and experiences that came from our ancestors experiences. They were often core beliefs or situations that were to benefit from that time, rooted in fear and protection. Our work now is to see whether they serve us any more, and release with love and compassion so fascinating.

21.01.2022 I focus a lot of what I do on being heart centred. I tend to explain that we have three brains: * Brain - Intellect * Heart - Intuition * Gut - Instinct... Our HEART is the meeting space between our instincts and intellect, and is where our intuition resides. The master of your domain. The intellect should be the humble servant. But often it takes over and tries to run the show. Research shows that more signals are sent from the heart to the brain, than vice versa! To be heart centred is to come from a space of love. But don’t think that this is all positive vibes, glitter, and star dust. Love is a passionate strong energy, can fuel the fires and destroy the injustice we experience. So from my last post I spoke about living in alignment as the path moving forward. Focussing on what fuels your heart is part of that process. Living in alignment feels good in the body, allowing peace and calm to be our go to default. 20.01.2022 Are you a worrier or Warrior? What differentiates the two? Worry is when we feel anxious or troubled about actual or potential problems. I think one of the first steps to analyse is whether this problem is ACTUALLY a problem, or is it something that we are just imagining could potentially happen. . There is a time and place for all things, the issue usually comes from prolonged, or merry-go-round thinking, where we can’t seem to find a solution and instead fall into stewing a...bout an issue without any real solution or outcome. . A warrior, on the other hand, is someone who has shown great courage, gone head to head in battles or faced challenges they have experienced or are experiencing. . One is passive, one is taking action. Where do you sit on this spectrum? If you find yourself in worry mode, and want to switch out of this, I invite you to take the following steps: . Self Awareness - what is the problem you are facing? Apply some distance - I notice that I am feeling . Is it real? How does it impact me? What does it make me feel? What are the solutions? How does it impact my value system? . Connection strategies you can apply to this to help get you out of worry and into a state of peace and calm? Deep breathing, grounding, feeling the emotion - crying, yelling into a pillow, etc. Get it out - we need to feel it to heal it. . Subconscious Repatterining: Look at ways to change your thinking - this is where I love EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique/Tapping) to help reduce the stress and fear response to the worry, resetting our nervous system. This allows us to move into rest and restore and better access our prefrontal cortex. Remember, when emotions are high, intelligence is low. This helps us to think clearer and head into taking aligned action and responses with clarity, kindness, and courage. . Would a video on tapping for worry be useful to you right now? 15.01.2022 I feel that we’re in a time where people need to be reminded to be kind - to self and to others. We see it blasted on our screens and shows, talking to experts, politicians, etc, only to have the next news bite coming on blasting Karen’s, with derisive shakes of heads and ‘we’re all in this together’ and anyone who says or thinks different is viewed as stupid and insensitive and wants everyone to die. All whilst continuing to incite fear in any shape or form they can. We a...re too busy looking externally on who to blame, who to call out, wanting to be right and validated by all. News flash. We have no control over anyone else - the only thing we have control over is ourselves. So when you notice your projections onto others, it’s time to flip that around and apply the mirror technique, because - and here is an uncomfortable truth- the aspects you are seeing in others is a reflection of what you have within yourself. To HEAL is to FEEL. It’s uncomfortable to sit with emotions such as blame, hate, anger, frustration, etc - but you’re bullying your own self right now whether you’re aware of it or not. Unresolved past experiences and traumas can fester deep within, and we continue to stuff our feelings in our emotional backpack, hidden away, trying to find a way to throw it off the mountain, never to be seen again by thinking complete separation will solve our problems. What would it look like if you tried something different? To meet and embrace these experiences one by one in a safe pace that works for you? Imagine being in a space where this is a natural default, that we call upon our Inner Carer to help soothe any dis-ease we experience across the planes - physical, emotional, mental, energetic. Where in these moments of reflection, you can call upon the energy of your own Inner Carer. Something to think about - how could you rise up and meet your shadows with love, compassion, courage, nurturing, kindness instead?

09.01.2022 It’s time for personal responsibility. The only one we are accountable are to ourselves. What holds us back. What standards are we living towards. No longer can we project ourselves outwards. Seeking approval or accolades. For what purpose does that hold? The more we drop into our own way of being, surrender to the process, meet and embrace our shadow selves, the easier we will find it to connect in with our hearts intelligence. This is the new way. Our goal is to recognise them as they arise and consciously view what is ‘real’ versus what is ‘unreal’. All emotions are valid, but it’s also a choice to realise if you aren’t in the emotional field you wish to be, what can you do to get you there?

02.01.2022 At the end of the day, health and healing is an inside job. I love Dr Catherine Fyans, an integrative GP in Mornington, who also studied a Diploma in Kinesiology. I just watched the interview she did with Monica and Matt over on Reignite Democracy Australia page, highly recommend. She also did a more detailed interview with @Health Australia Party a few months back which was also amazing. I‘ve been reflecting on a similar thought these last few days, particularly on the co...ncept you are your own healer. This centres YOU in the healing process. Your views. Your triggers. Your projections. Your interpretations. Your choices. In every moment, count. There are times to delve deep into feeling uncomfortable. To feel the energy and roar with rage. It is better to express that energy rather than try to suppress it. But once it is all done, how can you call on your Inner Carer, to show yourself some kindness and compassion, and to ask, what do I need right now to feel loved, safe, and nurtured. And doing that. It could be putting your phone down and giving yourself a few minutes of no stimulation and being present. It might be three deep breaths. Or heading to bed early even though there’s so much on your to do list. Because being well rested makes you more productive, rather than running yourself ragged ticking things off off a list that just keeps getting longer and longer. So I invite you reflect on the above quote. If health and healing is an inside job, what is one thing you can do right now to get you further along that healing spectrum?
