23.01.2022 I’ve always loved the British countryside (and British TV... and British comedy, David Attenborough, scones with jam and cream...) so this was pretty spesh. I did miss my eucalypts and golden grass at sunset, but only for as long as it took me to soak up the equally beautiful rolling green fields of Devon. Also... had the best Devonshire cream tea in my life on the way back home. Dreamy

21.01.2022 It’s easy to get stuck browsing at Bunnings. I’ve personally spent 1.5hrs wandering the shelves after just dropping in for AA batteries. One minute you’re looking for 8Gx38mm screws, and the next you find the love of your life. Steve, a tradie, found Jess, a Bunnings employee, in those majestic rows of aisles we know so well, and just like any Bunnings trip, it took a little longer than he expected. After repeated trips to Bunnings, and many unneeded purchases to justify the trip, Jess finally agreed to take their (maybe slightly awkward) Bunnings-hangs outside to the real world. Turns out Jess, so good at telling other people where to find what they’re after in Bunnings, finally found what she was after, too. Love of your life? Aisle 23, down the end, on the right.
