18.01.2022 Just concluded at RQYS in Brisbane was the National Flying 11 championships. Great series and well done and run by all the officials and volunteers who put in so much time for the future of the sport! Congratulations to all who competed and in particular all those who achieved podium places in ALL the divisions. To the newly crowned 2020 National Champions of Tyler Dransfield and Pearl Twomey fantastic effort...... Tyler was not overly confident with his sailing going into these Championships and after several on the water and at the loft sessions and some typical guidance then and throughout the series (most of you would know the nature of this guidance and from whom it came from) he and Pearl have gone out and won 8 out of 10 heats. An unbelievable result.

16.01.2022 Nice test for the boat and rigs first sail! Nice shot Michael......

13.01.2022 RIP Richard McCulloch We have known Dick for many years through his work with Ronstan Australia and got to know him particularly well when he worked out of our office here in Brookvale. Dick was a terrific bloke and a super keen sailor and will be missed.

05.01.2022 Also at Pt Stephens with the 13s was the Australian 16ft Skiff Championships. Over 50 skiffs, some very hot competition with half a dozen boats fighting for the title throughout the series and many heat winners...... Big effort to run a series of this nature and once again well done to Pt Stephens Sailing and Aquatic club and all the officials and volunteers. Congratulations to all the skiffs and crews and particularly to the place getters....... ... As a rule it takes a long apprenticeship and many hours on and off the water to win this title. This year's winners typify this and have finally broken through for a great win..... To Sutech Musto Racing and crew of Daniel Turner, Angus Williams and Matt Stenta from the Manly 16ft Skiff Club congratulations!! Nice effort Ruffy and crew.......
