23.01.2022 URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT As predicted NRL have announced that ALL Junior and Senior Community Rugby League in Australia have been postponed until the first week of May. This includes ALL competition games, trainings, representative fixtures, gala days and league programs. Given the unprecedented situation we find ourselves in, it is no time to be encouraging people to attend crowded events. For this reason we have also decided to postpone our Meet & Greet Night.... We will continue to post updates as they come in. In the meantime, if you have any questions please reach out to your committee members or message us via our page. It is at such times we draw strength from each other by looking out for one another. Lets not panic out of fear and prepare out of wisdom. 16.01.2022 GOOD AFTERNOON FAMILY & FRIENDS. We hope you are all keeping safe and well during this time. As you may have heard of the recent updates regarding restrictions, we were hoping that it would be lifted but it looks like we'll be on lockdown for 14 days. This is a bit unorthodox, being a rugby league page but we know it can affect ones mental well-being. Don't let this discourage you in any type of way, we are all in this together. Get some fresh air if you feel confined in your... home! This is so unfortunate for all of us and we want to remind you all you're not alone. We encourage you to use this time you have (if you're not working) to spend with your loved ones or reach out to your family and friends to see if they're doing okay. If you ever feel the need to talk to someone, just know there are always people who care for you who'll give an ear to listen. We can't wait to see the comeback from every club this season once everything has been lifted! Be safe, follow guidelines and see you all soon.

15.01.2022 UPDATED ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE 2020 SEASON To all our Rabbitohs family, By now all registered club members would have received an email informing you of where we stand as a club for the 2020 season (if you havent received an email please PM the club page and we will resend it to you).... As your Club Committee, our priority first and foremost is to ensure the health and safety of all our Rabbitohs family. After much thought and consideration, we have decided that Truganina Rabbitohs will NOT field any teams in the 2020 season should the competition commence. I realise that many of you will be disappointed to receive this news however I do believe that for our club, at this time, it is the right thing to do. I understand you may have questions so please refer to the email sent over the weekend which will have the names and contact details of the people who will best support you during this transition. So what happens now? We remain connected. We continue to look out for one another. We plan, rebuild and come back stronger for an amazing 2021 season. Its important we remain connected and continue to support each other throughout these unprecedented times. As restrictions ease, we will arrange various activities to keep our Rabbitohs family connected. 02.01.2022 UPDATE You will all be aware that restrictions will ease with sport and exercise which is due to commence next week. NRL VIC held a meeting last night to discuss return to play and training guidelines in line with government restrictions and also to address any concerns/questions that clubs may have.... At this stage, NO dates have been confirmed as to when competition will commence. We have a committee meeting this Saturday to discuss what came out of last nights meeting. These are unprecedented times so please bear with us as we navigate through all this but as always we will keep you informed
