21.01.2022 A huge shout out goes to the new Trundle Sports Council and their volunteers for a fantastic first year organising Trundle’s Australia Day Celebrations and Award Presentations. Congratulations and Thanks for a fantastic day! Trundle Boomers Rugby League Club Congratulations also goes to the Trundle Progress Association for a well deserved Trundle Citizen of the year award. A Town Like Trundle Thanks to Australian Mines the Trundle Bush Tucker Day Committee presented $5000 in donations to our community groups. We would like to thank all our wonderful volunteers in Trundle, you are what makes our town a community.

05.01.2022 Unfortunately, due to the current COVID 19 pandemic, the Trundle Bush Tucker Day Committee have had to make the difficult decision to cancel Trundle Bush Tucker Day’s National Bush Cook Championship in 2020. At this stage, the Public Order restricting public gatherings is due to expire in mid-June. This order was made by the Minister for Health and the decision on whether or not to continue it, and the form any continuance might take, will be driven by the advice of the healt...h experts. This is an unprecedented situation and we must trust that the authorities will work to relax the restrictions as soon as they believe it is safe to do so, but unfortunately, this will not be done in time for our Committee to implement any changes or restrictions for our event in September. WE WILL BE BACK! The Committee will keep working hard behind the scenes implementing any necessary changes as they arise in time for Trundle Bush Tucker Day’s National Bush Cooking Championships, Saturday 4th September, 2021. We appreciate that this is disappointing for all of our supporters including our Competitors, Visitors, Entertainers, Stallholders and Sponsors and we are grateful for your understanding and continued support during these uncertain times. We look forward to seeing you all for a safer a better Trundle Bush Tucker Day in September 2021

Trundle Bush Tucker Day is a true not-for-profit group where profits raised each year are donated straight back to our local Community Groups who rely on these funds each year.
