14.01.2022 Dear Family and Friends, In Nepal many people are suffering from the recent earthquake and this is a call for your assistance and an opportunity for you to make a difference from home. Back in 2004 I went to this peaceful country to Volunteer and teach orphan children English for an Organisation called Help2Educate. They rescue children from brick mines and put them into education. This experience changed my whole perspective on life through seeing the poverty yet kindness th...at these people live with everyday. At this moment the country on the roof of the world really needs our help and my friend Ian Wickens Charity organiser of Help 2 Educate has stopped his life in the UK to fly out and help the people on the ground, mostly in the surrounding villages of Kathmandu where aid isn’t getting to. If you would like to donate the Nepali people and help them please read the email below on how to Donate and what he is doing. I know there are lots of reasons and excuses that come up when someone asks you to donate, maybe such as "its not effecting me", "i have bills", "what differences can I make. But Please even if it is 20 GBP or 20 AUD this is half a months wages in Nepal and can make a big difference to these people, whereas for us it doesn’t make much of an impact in our lives, will we really miss it?
