I am looking for a cat sitter for two weeks in April (April 12-27) in Malawi - known as the warm heart of Africa - or Africa lite. I live in a town house on a small compound with three other houses, mostly school teachers for the international school. Cafes and shops are a few minutes drive away. Woody, my cat, is 18 and has slight dementia. He takes a daily pill to help prevent cognitive decline, but its still noticeable. He is very demanding, and vocally so. But hes also a great companion, and lovable old man cat. Besides the pill, daily hugs and brushes, he just needs to have his cat litter changed every few days (no clumping litter here Im afraid). We have a female Dalmatian, Bella - she has special needs as she is 13 - this includes daily medication and monthly trips to the vet for cartrophen injections. She is sweet natured, quiet and affectionate. We also have lively birds in a large wheeled cage and a medium sized fish tank. The gardens are low-maintenance but the outdoor decking often needs to be hosed down as Bella likes to toilet there! My husband and I will be away for approximately six months from February 2018 with the possibility of extending should our circumstances change. We require a quiet, respectful, trustworthy, non-smoking house sitter(s) to look after the house and animals while were away. I will also need the house sitter to send me postal bills/letters. 12.01.2022 Bird Lover needed! Sun City, AZ, United States Birds 10-06-2017 to 19-07-2017... I need a mature, experienced bird sitter to care for my cockatiel and canary while I am away for 6 weeks. You would need to supply fresh food, water and treats daily, and clean the canarys cage daily, and the cockatiels cage every 3 days. Vacuum under and around the cages daily, as well. The cockatiel is used to being out of his cage when someone is home. I would ask that you have him out at least 2 hours a day. The canary just stays in his cage and sings! I live in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath patio home in a retirement community. Good Wifi. Close to restaurants and shops. Interesting day trips nearby. Hello, I am new to this house sitting idea. We have a beautiful home in Aldgate that we have been renovating. We love our house and would like it to be kept very clean. Its quite large and unique. (It looks like a 3 story Tudor tavern) it is on a large acre block with a gorgeous creek. (Which my husband loves sitting in to have a beer on a hot day :) So its a little bit of mowing/garden upkeep. Its in a fantastic location in a stunning leafy setting. Its only 1 minute drive or a 10 minute walk to Aldgate. Less than 5 minute drive to either Stirling or Bridgewater and 15 minutes to the city. There are heaps of great cafes and pubs around. We have a very affectionate Spoodle who loves cuddles and walks, a lovely cat and 7 chickens. We are travelling to Bali for Christmas from around the 21st December - 9th January and need someone to lovingly look after our home and pets.
