We have an exciting announcement coming up in the next week, one that we are sure lots of our current customers will be excited about! 15.01.2022 Fun Fact for your Rainy Saturday on the Gold Coast!! Does rainfall change your water chemistry? Yes, it does but keep in mind that minor amounts of rain arent going to change the chemistry much. ... Rain is acidic. It has a lower pH level than what we keep our pool levels at, We want to keep the pH in our pool between 7.4 and 7.6 The reason for this number is that the human eye has a pH of 7.5, Major fluctuations from this can cause serious discomfort. I have heard too many times of people complaining that "My eyes are burning, the chlorine is too high" Very rarely is chlorine an issue if your eyes are in discomfort while swimming. It is most likely that the pH is low, or acidic. Normal rain water has a pH of around 5.0. So depending on how much rainfall, it can lower the pH of the pool. In saying that your pH is always climbing so in most cases the rain will assist in correcting your pH...

09.01.2022 Only The Name Has Changed To help our clients we have re-branded the business and have changed our name so that it reflects who we are and exactly what we do. For those who dont know the history of TPS the original name Toms Pool & Spa was founded by Tom & Alison in 1995, Geoff and Nikki then purchased the business 10 years later, and since then in 2012 Mark and Tara purchased the business and it is where it stands today. Mark and I would like to take this opportunity to ...Thank You personally for your patronage and ongoing support over the years, and by sticking by the company. As we all know small business can be tough so we really appreciate your support. Rest assured this change will not affect the service or runnings of the business in any way, shape or form, and we are hoping the migration will take place over the next few months and hope to be completely changed over by the new financial year on July 1, 2014. We have decided to keep the TPS logo and keep the original artwork that we introduced in 2012, So the new company name is Trusty Pool Services We also think this ties in nicely with our slogan Honesty is our Policy which is what we stand for in the pool industry.
