25.01.2022 November Astrology via Aststrodienst Newsletter ( www.astro.com). "The conjunction of Saturn and Pluto from the beginning of the year is still the dominant force. Since a conjunction of Jupiter and Pluto will take place on November 12 at the exact degree of the Saturn-Pluto conjunction, it is to be expected that this month will once again be strongly focused on similar themes. The power struggles everywhere as well as the occasionally chaotic effects of the pandemic are an ex...pression of this quality of time. It is a great struggle for stability. At the beginning of the month, there is a tense atmosphere of alertness. Mercury in Libra ends its retrograde phase on November 3. It is stationary during these days and forms an exact square to Saturn from November 1 to 8. Now it is necessary and possible to speak clearly and to call things by their name. This is also a good time to think about complex issues. Workable compromises and diplomatic solutions can now be found that promise stability in the longer term. The days between November 9 and 15 are energetically charged. Venus forms an opposition to Mars on November 9, Mercury enters Scorpio on November 11, Mars ends its retrograde phase on November 14, and on the day of the Scorpio New Moon on November 15, Venus is exactly square Pluto. The quality of time is passionate and full of strength and determination. Experiences of love could lead to undreamt-of flights of fancy. But despite perhaps euphoric feelings, do not forget that risky behavior sometimes has consequences that could be regretted later. On November 21, the Sun enters Sagittarius and Venus enters Scorpio. Mercury forms a trine to Neptune on November 24, the Sun trines Chiron on November 26, and Venus is in opposition to Uranus on November 27. The extroverted mood of the previous days is still echoing, the consequences cannot yet be assessed. Answers can probably only be expected after the Full Moon on the Sagittarius-Gemini axis on November 30, which involves a lunar eclipse. After that it will become clearer which aspects were not considered."

24.01.2022 Walking 'mindful' meditation is not something new, nor a passing fashion... It has been and is a useful process for many situations. I've found it to be very useful over the years...

23.01.2022 ALLERGIES and GARDENS. As Spring gardens are rather spectacular and inviting to walk and potter about in ... just a quick check in/ suggestions for avoiding the 'sneezing' component of the season. Ideally, plant Australian natives as they are less likely to cause an allergic reaction; replace any bark mulch with rock or gravel to reduce toxic mould spores; plan your gardening around rainy, cloudy or windless days as pollen counts are lower and if possible mow when the dew is... still present on the lawn. Where possible, avoid plants with strong fragrances or odours and consider planting asthma-friendly plants i.e. those that are insect-pollinated or propagated by cuttings or grafting, such as: Herbs sage, mint, thyme, parsley, marjoram, rosemary. Trees Magnolia, Gingko Biloba, Lillypilly, Cherry Flowers snapdragon, pansy, begonia, impatiens, petunia, viola, lobelia Climbers kiwi fruit, passionfruit, Chilean jasmine. Enjoy your walks and pottering ... Keryn.

23.01.2022 HAPPY GRANDFATHERS DAY

23.01.2022 Yes "imaginings" can be wonderful .. but sometimes when we let our mind get too carried away ... we can become unnecessarily distressed. Being 'present' and pragmatic can assist greatly in relieving and avoiding unnecessary stress. It's hump day folks .... stay well, stay safe... stay 'present'. - keryn.

21.01.2022 For those of you interested in Astrology .. For October from Astrodienst:.. "In these days, we should take a line from the I Ching to heart: "The best way to fi...ght evil is to make energetic progress in the good"............. THE CURRENT QUALITY OF TIME There is a Full Moon, right on October 1, with the Aries Moon exactly conjunct Chiron. The suffering of the weak and powerless now becomes obvious. The call for an end to the hard times is growing louder and more impatient. This month, however, there is little hope of relief, on the contrary. On October 3, the Moon is in tension with Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto, before reaching Mars and Lilith. At the same time, Pluto ends its retrograde phase. There could be power struggles during this period, especially around October 9, when Mars forms a square to Pluto. Some people might now try to force things ruthlessly at their will. Do not put up with everything, but beware of adding fuel to the fire. In the following days, the Sun in Libra forms squares to Jupiter (on October 11), Pluto (15) and Saturn (18). The New Moon of October 16 and Mars in Aries are also involved in this powerful tension. It is a critical time with very little room for manoeuvre, but this is precisely what could lead to courageous decisions being taken, which are risky but at least take us a step further. In these days, we should take a line from the I Ching to heart: "The best way to fight evil is to make energetic progress in the good". (Hexagram 43, after Richard Wilhelm) During the last third of the month, there could actually be some progress. Venus in Virgo forms an opposition to Neptune on October 18, and Mars squares Jupiter a day later. Retrograde Mercury (since October 14) is in opposition to Uranus. The state of facts will be even more unclear than before, but for once those who are seriously working on the solution of the manifold problems will have an upswing. On October 23, the Sun enters Scorpio, Mercury and Venus enter Libra on October 28, and finally, on October 31, there is a second Full Moon this month, with the Taurus Moon in close conjunction with the rebel Uranus. So, the last week of October will bring a clear shift in the quality of time, and surprising developments may be expected.

21.01.2022 Yes it most certainly does ......

19.01.2022 It's the weekend ... Enjoy! Take time away from Covid statistics and relax ... some suggestions for positive 'neuro-transmitting'(oxytocin may require a somewhat tempered approach). - Keryn.

19.01.2022 On the other hand, you could just relax and realize that, behind all the worry, complaint and disapproval that goes on in your mind, the sun is always comin...g up in the morning, moving across the sky, and going down in the evening. The birds are always out there collecting their food and making their nests and flying across the sky. The grass is always being blown by the wind or standing still. Food and flowers and trees are growing out of the earth. There’s enormous richness. You could envelop your passion for life and your curiosity and your interest. You could connect with your joyfulness. You could start right now. ~Ani Pema Chödron #LamaSuryaDas #TheAmericanLama #AniPemaChödron #PemaChödron #Dzogchen #NaturalGreatPerfection #AwakeningtheBuddhaWithin

19.01.2022 In the mind-body-spirit community it's usually seen as a virtue to let things go. (I even teach courses in it.) Letting go and forgiving can be one of the most ...healing, empowering things that you can do. It can change everything. But sometimes so-called "letting go" can just another way of suppressing what you are feeling. It's okay to be angry. It's okay to make a stand. It's okay to stick up for yourself. You don't always have to be nice (says the woman who was voted nicest in high school.). It's okay to be an occasional bitch (However, it's not okay to be resentful or bitter, as that damages you.) Timing is everything. Wisdom occurs when you know when to activate your inner warrior . . . and also when to activate your inner sage. One isn't better than the other. Just one may be more appropriate than the other, at the time, for your soul.

18.01.2022 Spring is here ........

18.01.2022 Let's face it social media is full of 'positivity' posters and at times it is easy to become cynical.... HOWEVER ... yesterday (Thursday) I had an experience, which I have decided to share with clients, that referenced the sentiments expressed on the attached 'poster'.. Yep .. I was the one on the receiving end of these sentiments Big time .. The day started out rather calmly went for a lovely walk in Merrylands Central Gardens .. decided to stop over at Flower Power Pros...pect and pick up a gift for a very helpful friendHmmParking in the carpark .. on stopping .. my foot slipped from the brake, my reflexes not as quick as they once were ..Yogi lurched forward into the shrubbery and rear ended another Mazda on the other side of said shrubs ( minimal dent there) So off to the office to find the owner all going well and then maybe the heat, may be a bit of shock . and my low blood pressure kicked in.. those of you who have seen this would know it looks bad but stabilises after about 20 minutes however, the poor people at Flower Power Yes, well I do go very pale light headed and clammy.. Oh dear ..I had helpers galore - a retired nurse ( her daughter’s car was the one I bingled) ; staff at FP - getting me water, making me comfortable, staying with me throughout; People were having to step around me - as I lie down on the ground when this happens. - An ambulance was called assessed me , after a while all was good (the magic 20 minutes had elapsed ) . Additionally 2(?) Tow trucks for the car - which was drivable but the paramedics weren’t happy with me driving and a police car in response to tow trucks attending 'an accident' at Prospect Yep I had pretty much blocked the car park .. eventually all things settled down ..and my guardian Angels Eva and Warwick arrived to take me home. Back home and onto the online claim . a couple of glitches . and NRMA phone assist .. they couldn’t be more helpful - same for the Smash Repairs when I called them. Today I have felt more nurtured than I have in years it was an amazingly uplifting experience ... albeit somewhat surreal . Suffice to say days like this restore your faith in humanity...feeling very grateful, supported and loved. See more

17.01.2022 Just in from working in the garden .... rather hungry and this popped up in the newsfeed ... .. suffice to say I don't have one ready ... note to self for another day ... Right now(!) I'm needing sustenance .. & .. heading to the fridge ..... Have a good day folks - Keryn.

15.01.2022 Fear can present in many forms ... depression, anxiety, hysteria, anger, defiance ... it is defeated when people come together focused on compassion and support of each other. We all need to focus on being kind to each other .. even the angry and defiant -they are just as scared and frustrated as the rest of us ... possibly even more so. #weareallinthistogether.

14.01.2022 It's National Pain Week ..... "Engagement with primary healthcare providers is critical. Healthcare providers unwillingness to undertake training or professional development in the use of medicinal cannabis seems to be one of the greatest hurdles for people who may benefit from this therapeutic option for their pain. Chronic Pain Australia calls on medical groups to identify barriers to uptake of practitioner training opportunities. A person who may benefit from the use of any legal & appropriate medicine can experience many barriers - their health care providers should not be one of them."
