14.01.2022 Although were devastated by the need to cancel traditional ANZAC Day commemorations this year, weve been encouraged by the alternatives many of our community ...here on Facebook have shared. Were pleased that ANZAC Day has such a special place in the hearts of all Australians! Theres one suggestion that we think could be a really special way of showing our ANZAC spirit in these uncertain times. At 6am on ANZAC Day, lets gather separate but united at the end of our driveways (or on our balconies) and observe a minutes silence as the sun rises. RSL Tasmania calls on Australians to show their ANZAC spirit and honour the service of our Defence forces, past and present, by standing at the end of their driveways for a minutes silence this ANZAC Day.

01.01.2022 HMAS Adelaide has now arrived off the coast of Eden to commence relief and evacuation operations along the coastline. The Canberra Class Landing Helicopter Dock... (LHD) is carrying 400 personnel including the ships company and personnel to support logistics and engineering capabilities, as well as 300 tonnes of relief supplies. The sky, and visibility, dramatically changed as the ship progressed down the coast from Sydney to Eden, giving those on board a strong visual reference to the seriousness of the bushfire situation on the NSW south coast. #AustralianNavy #OurCommunity #WeAreWithYou #OpBushfireAssist
