19.01.2022 Darebin Council Election votes have now been counted and although I have not been elected I want to thank all my family and friends for the support over the last 3 months of campaigning. Congratulations to Susanne Newton for her re-election.
07.01.2022 The Greek Orthodox Community of Melbourne and Victoria last night came together to fight the proposal from LaTrobe University to cut its Modern Greek program. GCM president Bill Papastergiadis highlighted the need for everyone to work together in a coordinated approach. As a Darebin resident and president of O Periklis located in Northcote i want to say a big thank you to Kat Theophanous MP and Councillor Emily Dimitriadis for confirming their support.
07.01.2022 It’s great to see councils taking swift action on getting outdoor dining rolled out. I have recently visited Stonnington and Monash of which both have also done the same. Unfortunately nothing from our own Darebin City Council Councillor Newton, can the West Ward residents please get an explanation as to why we are unable to get these post Covid business recovery measures implemented in a timely manner, when our council prides itself on its Covid recovery?

03.01.2022 During the council elections and Stage 4 restrictions Darebin City Council has had feedback from the community on the future of Bill Larry Oval Redevelopment. How is this feedback inclusive of members of our community that do not have access to technology? And why is Darebin council determine to exclude members of our community in consultations? #VasiliosTsalkos
