25.01.2022 We were proud to partner with Nutrien Ag Solutions to deliver the Beef Cattle Husbandry Field Day, at the TAFE Queensland Rural Centre of Excellence today. This field day is a first of its kind and highlighted the best practices in general animal husbandry, including the methods of application, new treatments and pain relief.

CussonsMedia is a specialist rural media agency based in Toowoomba, Queensland, producing targeted video, written and audio content in paddocks across Australia and New Zealand. This workshop was designed to educate participants on how to improve provenance storytelling within their businesses as part of their marketing plan.

Well done to Linda and her team on assisting to making the 2020 Darling Downs Beef Battle a raging success!

13.01.2022 What an amazing night celebrating top-quality beef brands in the Darling Downs at the Darling Downs Beef Battle 2020. This year there were eight beef brands competing for the title of Darling Downs Best Beef Brand including NH Foods, Mort & Co, Rangers Valley, Stanbroke, JBS Australia, John Dee, Stockyard Beef and Four Daughters Beef. Stanbroke took out the trophy with their Diamantina Wagyu which impressed all 250 judges who attended the event.... Well done to all our beef brands!

01.01.2022 Recently several of our members attended a site tour of the Darling Downs Solar Farm (DDSF) near Dalby in the Western Downs. APA has developed the 110-megawatt DDSF which is supported by a $20 million grant from the Australian Government through the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) Advancing Renewables Program. The solar farm has approximately 430,000 solar panels covering approximately 250 hectares, and connects into Powerlink’s existing Braemar Substation.
