23.01.2022 Getting really excited about next weeks trip to Darwin to work with the great team at Landcare NT! I’ve also managed to sneak in a day at the Society of Ecological Restoration Conference into the super busy week! https://sera2021.org Those planning to attend the conference, see you there Thursday.

18.01.2022 After approx 6 months of consulting remotely for Landcare NT, pretty excited to be travelling to Darwin to actually see them and even more excited to be maximising my time in the NT by visiting Landcare groups in Darwin & surrounds AND attending the Society for Ecological Restoration Conference! What a week ahead.

14.01.2022 Travelling home after a huge week in Darwin and surrounds, seeing community led action on the ground to improve local environments. My cup is full. I have learnt an enormous amount from some super passionate people and feel so proud to be affiliated with Landcare. When I see peri-urban environments like the one pictured below (Monsoon Forest, Rapid Creek NT) and meet the hard working, skilled Landcarers working behind the scenes and hear their stories of pride of place....BO...OM...my heart pounds. THIS is community engagement - real-time. To quote the President of the Australasian Association of Bush Regenerators Tein McDonald ‘The work of urban Landcare groups is too often considered recreational, the examples of these groups today show the complex ecological works Landcarers do’. - Society of Ecological Restoration Australasian Conference 2021.

12.01.2022 It’s been an epic year and the best is yet to come.....CHRISTMAS!! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and an enjoyable festive season. We’re finishing up on a high note this year with many new projects passing over the desks, some great business partnerships forged and continuing success across the country. 2021 is going to be awesome, drop us a line if you have an upcoming project that requires our specialist support. 11.01.2022 ‘Oh the Places You’ll Go’....working in partnership with Environmental & Science Media, we visited the Lenswood Coop. What a buzz! The old ‘Think Global, Act Local’ is alive and well in little Lenswood with local co-op owners driving innovation and production through generations. We’re delivering a really exciting project to develop a community education series (videos and info sheets) for the Adelaide Hills Council. Research is by far the best part!
