21.01.2022 Mornington Peninsula Class is growing slowly after a year of Shutdown

16.01.2022 Great Class at Mt Martha last night with 20 people on the floor. Well done.

11.01.2022 Hastings Hall is closed until the 13th April 2020 because of the Caronavirus situation. During this time (weather permitting), we will train at our normal times in the open on the foreshore parkland close to the dojo. Please wear suitable footwear i.e. trainers.... Also, please bring a bottle of drinking water, sunblock if necessary and insect repellent if you need it. I have tried in vain to buy hand sanitizer/make hand sanitizer. Unfortunately, sanitizers are sold out as are the materials to make it. If you have some use it as you will. During this time, we will concentrate on Basics and Kata and try to avoid where possible one on one physical contact i.e. Kumite. We also need to keep social distancing of at least 2 metres from each other in all directions. We are in open parkland this is not a problem. We have already done a couple of lessons in the park without any issues. Please note: if you are not feeling well i.e. have a temperature, stay at home. Remember: No rain, we train

07.01.2022 Training in the park this morning keeping 5 metres apart and using red cone markers to keep distance. I did not expect the kids to do shiba-dachi using the cones.

06.01.2022 Grading today at Mornington Peninsula Dojo with Nemoto Sensei. Congratulations to all who passed their grading, in particular, young Ben who took his first Grading on his own in front of Sensei, and without help from others who are normally around him in class.
