24.01.2022 Karate training is like water. If a plant does not get enough water, it will not grow. Attention in your training class is like food. If a plant only gets a little food it will grow slowly and not be strong, if it gets a lot of food then it will develop and flourish.... The spirit of mind and strength in training is like the sun. A plant with out sunshine will not rise up to the sun to look at it or be able to greet it head on. Studants plant the seed by joining karate. Instructors nurture, feed, water and inhance the sun for the tree to have a strong root system only then can a strong tree learn to grow and rise.

21.01.2022 So excited to announce! We have our classes returning as if this Thursday 25th June. Please message me if you are wanting to attend a class? so I can allow for class numbers to be kept within the limits of the guidelines currently set out by the Qld government. Also to be able to send you the new times that had to be changed to allow for no overlapping of students colliding with each other with change over of classes and within keeping the safe distancing.

19.01.2022 There are so many other great rewards that are gained through karate training for both adults and kids! too many to mention, it never ceases to amaze me the value of what karate training gives to so many in so many different ways. With so many good instructors, a strong karatika family and organisation such as TSKF the limits are only set by the students progress in what I can only call as an amazing road of each persons personal karate journey, I call it a road because there is and will be, many twists and turns with lots of ups and downs, but it is not a road any student will travel alone, we do it together. As each student progresses so does their abilities, body, spirit and minds strengthen.

19.01.2022 I think at one time or another we have all learnt this the hard way! It is better to be truthful to ourselves in our training, a shortcut or lesser effort is a lie.

18.01.2022 This uniform is not necessarily all about fighting or having to fight. We teach all students (no matter the age) to have self confidence and mental strength. Bullys generally dont target people that have these attributes.

I am Very proud of Mikaylah, she got 1st place in both Kata and kumite, I also compete...d again after 3 years rest (from competition only :) ). Sad that not everyone could make it to training for our last night, but be assured we were thinking of you all.
