16.01.2022 Last week of Term before Vacation care! We went off with a SPLASH! This week was Sea Week and to help the children celebrate, the talented staff here at OSHC went above and ‘below’ to create engaging, challenging and sensory activities for the children to involve themselves in. We had everything from water pressure experiments, slime, goop, water and gelli gaff. To say the children enjoyed themselves is an understatement, as you can see evidence in the photos with their smi...ling and happy faces! What a wonderful send off for the Term! We cannot wait to see you all for the first week of Vacation Care next week

14.01.2022 Today's intentional teachings. How can we keep Australia beautiful? Some of the children spent an hour walking around the school collecting rubbish to help keep our part of Australia beautiful. Other children sorted waste, recycling and composting into the correct containers. The children were very proud of their efforts in making our school beautiful and free from rubbish.

12.01.2022 We were very fortunate to be able to capture one of the chickens being born this morning. The children showed great patience while watching and waiting for the chick to crack open its shell....and the roar of excitement was unbelievable!

09.01.2022 RECYCLED CRAFT ITEMS CALLOUT We are in need of recycling items for the children to use for craft please. Such as empty bottles, assorted sized boxes, apple containers, lids and anything else you think would be useful and suitable please drop all donations to the OSHC room. 08.01.2022 At OSHC we pride ourselves of building positive relationships within our wider community. Today we delivered cards of well wishes and bookmarks to some of the Residents at Carramar. The children love making these cards, as they know their efforts make someone smile.

06.01.2022 The week in review. The children really embraced their inner creativity this week with nature art and fairy houses not to mention the spontaneous creations seen throughout the sessions. We also did a science experiment with balloons on Wednesday and have set up the light box with creatures for the children to explore. If you have any suggestions towards our program don’t hesitate to let one of our staff know or leave a comment below. We value everyone’s input.

05.01.2022 This week has been all about sensory experiences which the children have embraced....elbows deep. We had a few changes to our planned activities but the children didn’t mind as they were just as involved in the learning experiences. There was a lot of opportunities for the children to freely extend on their learning with free choice crafts always a winner. We also took the opportunity to get out onto the oval and develop our gross motor skills.

03.01.2022 The week that was 31 st August. The children enjoyed many activities during the week. Sensory play is always a winner, along with time on the playground. Many children found their creative side and made sand art cards for Father’s Day and shrinks dink key rings.
