24.01.2022 During this pandemic, a lot of nice people paints rocks and leave it on the walkway for us. It lifts our spirits and we look forward to walk everyday. This gave the Townsville Chinese club Senior the inspiration to paint the rock and went one step further to make a photo holder. Thanks for the inspiration and being an angle during this trying times. Salute to all rock painters!

18.01.2022 Last week Aunty Nini visited us from Port Macquarie just before we closed our border to NSW. It's a pleasure that we were able to celebrate her 92th birthday! With her company, we converted a milk bottle to a self watering pot. We planted chives and spring onion and now we wait!

04.01.2022 The Senior visited The Catholic Archive Center today. Helen shared her knowledge on how old records are computerised and stored. We learnt about acid free plastic envelopes, orange oil and even oven bags! One of us was over the moon when Ann managed to retrieve information of her grand father-in-law back in 1930; he was in the news for growing a 65 pounds watermelon! Thanks ladies.
