Who among the people is the most worthy of my good companionship? The Prophet said: Your mother. The man said, Then who?' The Prophet said: Then your mother. The man further asked, Then who?' The Prophet said: Then your mother. The man asked again, Then who?' The Prophet said: Then your father.... (Bukhari, Muslim). The entrance to paradise is linked to caring for and respecting a mother May Allah make us amongst those who constantly seek for his pleasure. Ameen!

Let your child know that even with the wings, the birds can't fly except by the permission of Allah. Let your child know that rains don't fall because it's rainy season alone, it can fall at anytime or cease at any time by the permission of Allah.... Let your child know that you are not the best role model for them, but the messenger of Allah is. Let your child know that there is a Lord whom they should fear and obey. Teach your children not to fear you or the people, but Allah and Allah alone. Teach your children that they don't breathe because there is breeze, but by the leave of Allah. Teach your child that Allah is established on his throne above the seven heavens, before their primary school teacher will teach your children that Allah is everywhere. Teach your daughter about the essence of Hijaab and shame, before the world teachers her to slay and pose in selfies. Give your son proper Tarbiyah from the story of Luqman and his son in the Quran before he becomes the DJ and party rider in your street. When your child asks you for their school fees, tell them to include it in their prayers and ask Allah for it, don't tell them to wait till you receive month end salaries, else they will think that the government is the provider and the sustainer. Don't wait till they grow up before you start teaching them the Deen, for your decisions over them may not matter to them anymore at that time. (Teach your child the Quran and the Quran will teach them everything). Oh Allah, help us in regards to our children, and make it easy for us to raise them upon your religion. Ameen Ameen Ameen.

07.01.2022 HAIRSTYLE: SHAVING PART OF THE HEAD. Al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated from Ibn ‘Umar (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) forbade Qaza’. Naafi’ (one of the narrators of the hadith) said, explaining Qaza’: Shaving part of a boy’s head and leaving part. Al-Nasa’i and Abu Dawood narrated from Ibn ‘Umar (RA) that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) saw a boy part of whose head had been shaved and part of it left. He told them not to do that and said: ...Shave all of it or leave all of it. [Al-Albani classed it as sahih in Sahih al-Nasa’i]

06.01.2022 Recently in the news it has been reported that there has been an increase in domestic violence all over the world due to the current requirement to stay at home... (Coronavirus lock-down). In Islam, our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) taught us that the home is the palace & sanctuary for the wife where she should be safe from any ill treatment from her husband. The Quraan enjoins good treatment of one's wife: she is to be honoured and treated kindly, even when one no longer feels love in one's heart towards her. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): and live with them honourably. As part of this appreciation, the Australian National Imams Council (ANIC) also provided the Bankstown Lidcombe-Hospital staff with 100 pre-made meals. ANIC extends its sincerest gratitude to all the frontline health care workers in all of Australia for their tireless sacrifice and hard work. ANIC also extends its gratitude to Brother Bashar Karayem from The Culinary School in Punchbowl for their generous sponsorship of this initiative.
