19.01.2022 Ready for the last race meeting for the year at Springmount Raceway tomorrow. I may have fixed my launch off the line problem, find out tomorrow on the first run . Hopefully my balanced rear slicks will stop the severe tire & car shake in the top end of the track & allow the car to stretch its legs . If it all goes to plan, could be a very interesting day .

11.01.2022 A summary of this year’s last race meeting at Springmount Raceway. I had a very average day , the newly Balanced Slicks solved my tire shake so that was a plus. I added 500 mls of transmission fluid to the tranny & this appeared to solve my launch slipping problem until the last run when the car was back to it’s old habit of slipping off the line . Only positive to come out of the day was a new P.B 60 ft time of 1.541 plus meeting many new drivers & sharing stories & enjoying... a great day out doing something that I enjoy. I am not sure about my change to 28 inch slicks as my times are slower & my top speed is down & the car may not have the horsepower to wind out so I may have to go back to 26 inch ones. Once again I must thank my pit crew Evan & Cheryl Kirby . Your help all day is greatly appreciated . Thanks to Springmount Raceway for a great track & facility . See more
