21.01.2022 REMINDER: AGM - Annual General Meeting for the TS York Unit support committee is being on Friday 31/07/2020 at 7pm. Location is: Cadet Unit (due to the cadets not being there) ALL WELCOME - the USC needs parents/guardians to help as our committee cannot run with no members. The current USC treasurer and secretary are not continuing in their roles so we need new members to come along and chip in for 2020/2021.

19.01.2022 The 2020 Unit Camp got off to a windy start and ended in sunshine Loads of laughs, learning, a promotion and a great BBQ cooked by Dale as shown below. The USC responded a short notice with the funding to feed the cadets and staff.

17.01.2022 Massive thank you to the USC members and parents who made it down to Wings & Things today - the car parking helpers were truly amazing and hard working !! They’ve raised some $$ for the USC so thanks again for your time and efforts. Amanda Meessen USC Secretary

17.01.2022 On Saturday 15th February TS Yorks recruitment stand will be at the George Town RSL farmers market from 10am until 12 noon. I invite everyone to come down and check it out - bring a friend too ! What a great opportunity for the unit to show our community what we do and who we are.



15.01.2022 The USC is calling for new members to join us so we can continue to support our unit. The committee holds monthly meetings and its main focus is on fundraising to make sure our cadets have the best experience possible. So if you’ve got a few hours to spare each month, enjoy working with others and have or are willing to obtain a working with vulnerable persons check please message us for more information. All contacts with be in line with current Health guidelines which may include zoom or team app meetings

09.01.2022 WE NEED YOUR HELP - Sunday 23rd Feb at the Wings & Things Family Fun Day from 10am to 4pm. The USC needs parents/guardians and friends to help with the car parking for the event as it raises money for us. It’s pretty easy and you’ll be shown what to do. Please comment below on what time slot suits you. 08.01.2022 TS York will be re commencing parades this Friday night the 24th January at 630pm at 57 Friend Street. New cadets are always welcome and if you are turning 13 this year come down and have a look at what we do.

07.01.2022 Our first meeting for 2020 is on this Friday 14th February @ 7pm held at the unit so when doing drop off, why not come in for a cuppa and check out the meeting too

01.01.2022 Our cadets are back at the unit - in accordance with current requirements, including a sign in register, social distancing and some adjustments. I’m pretty sure everyone was happy to be able to return.
