25.01.2022 And that’s a wrap!! Thank you to all participants, client’s, families, carers, businesses and sub contractors for another wonderful working year. 2019 was a successful year for Yellowbird and we look forward to the opportunity of supporting you and offering new and different NDIS supports in 2020. Carol our support coordinator will be available if any of our support coordination participants has an emergency. ... Looking forward already to doing our absolute best for you all in 2020. Lots of further construction and landscaping occurring on the farm in Stroud to bring landscaped areas, raised garden beds and some sensory gardens planted and covered outdoor spaces for our guests. It’s been a tough drought and the drought has hit the farm hard with also some very sad losses. 2020 is a new year, and with the rain will also bring a rebirth of green back to Green Acres. The construction of the Yellowbird wellbeing HQ office is progressing and is on track for opening in late March 2020. Much love from the Yellowbird Wellbeing Family

23.01.2022 YBWell are changing our behaviour to help keep the COVID-19 contagion risk as low as possible. We are introducing proactive measures to limit the impact of COV...ID-19 to our NDIS participants, families & carers, our independent contractors, our clinicians, and stakeholders. There is no need for alarm, no participant, contractor or member of the YBWell Team have been diagnosed with COVID-19. We are taking proactive measures to ensure that we are adhering to our duty of care for all who are engaged with YBWell supports. YBWell will continue to accept referrals and continue to support all our participants and clients, we will just be implementing some new methods over the coming weeks to ensure we do our part in keeping our families, Australians and our community safe. All YBWell staff and independent contractors have undertaken recent training on hygiene protocols amid the COVID 19 pandemic. All clinical assessments (behaviour, OT & Psychological) are moving to Telehealth (online video). For those assessments that still require a site visit (home modifications for example) additional precautions will be implemented. Support coordination - will only be delivered via telehealth, email or phone (not many changes there) Short Term Accommodation - individual bookings are still being accepted. Increased hygiene protocols have been implemented. We will work with you case by case to find the best solution. Cabin and Cottage is disinfected before and after each booking. Support staff follow strict hygiene protocols and have undertaken additional training. Driver Training - new and existing bookings will continue with additional hygiene protocols. social distancing is not possible in a vehicle, and therefore if you are not well please cancel. Vehicle surfaces are disinfected before and after each session. All social/community/daily support - will continue as usual at the moment, with increased hygiene protocols being implemented and the social distancing protocol implemented. 18.01.2022 Accepting and confirming bookings at our NDIS therapeutic short term farm stay accommodation at Green Acres Farm in Stroud. We are taking and confirming all b...ookings for May 2019 now. Enquire today and get the ball rolling. We currently have 2 options: Cabin Retreat (internal en-suite) ready and available Vintage Van Retreat (external en-suite) available later in 2019 Both will have individual front timber decks Both are independent accommodation options with Overnight support is non active and seperate (main farm house not far away). This accommodation is not suitable for wheelchairs or physical mobility issues or behavioural needs. We charge 2018/2019 ndis priceguide rates. We also have a non YBW support option if you want to bring your own carer. This option is available in the cabin retreat as 2 seperate beds can be set up in the open plan space. couples can book the vintage van as it has a double bed. The bring your own carer option includes accommodation, and a breakfast hamper each day. We are a registered provider for this ndis support, so if you are agency managed, no worries We make all our own meals for our guests (with guests participation in learning to cook and building life skills) from as much of our own Green Acres farm grown produce as possible. All beef has been produced from Green Acres Farm, 100% grass fed. 100% Raw Honey comes from the Apairy on Green Acres Farm. Later in 2019 Green Acres will also be producing and providing grass fed lamb and goat. Farm free ranging chickens provide us with daily fresh eggs. Seasonal fruits and vegetables from the permaculture food forest and food patches being developed. We are always planting and growing fresh produce and trying tried/tested and new home grown recipes for our guests. With only 2 vacancies available every day (only 1 vacancy daily atm until vintage van comes on board), bookings will fill quickly especially on weekends. So make sure you book ahead of time with securing with service bookings in the ndis portal. We will accept all advanced bookings, as weekends will book the quickest. NDIS Plan and self managed participants as per our policy are equivalent to our private fee paying guests whom will be required to pay in full 7 days prior to checkin. 18.01.2022 We completed our stage 2 certification audit today. I can happily report we have been advised that the auditors are recommending certification to the commission... for all registration groups we applied for They told us to expect a 30 day turnaround. The most significant difference will be our registration under improved relationships. I will be providing behavioural assessment/support plans and training. And the registration to provide specialist support coordination. Thanks to all clients and providers that continue to support us through your engagement and referrals. We are excited about 2019 and you and others will join us on our journey
