25.01.2022 As per Qld state government advice (https://www.qld.gov.au//current-/greater-brisbane-lockdown), The Training Ground will remain closed from 6pm Friday 8th of January to 6pm Monday 11th January 2021. Please note that you are permitted to exercise in your local area provided you wear a mask & do so with no more than one other person. At this stage we are planning to recommence services from 6am on Tuesday 12th of January 2021, however we will continue to monitor the situation & keep you posted with any changes. Please keep an eye on our socials & maintain contact with your trainer for further information

You don't have to wear a mask indoors if you are doing strenuous aerobic exercise such as high-intensity interval training, cycling, running or team sport. Remember to: Stay hydrated. 15.01.2022 We are pleased to announce that The Training Ground will re-open from 6:00am on Monday 8th June. This includes personal training, lunchtime gym membership and Ground Rounds small group personal training. We will be adhering to the state government guidelines which states the following with regard to Fitness businesses:... - up to 20 people at a time - 4 square metres per person when indoors. We have installed hygiene stations throughout that include hand sanitiser, disinfectant sprays and disposable wipes. 10.01.2022 Congratulations to these superstars . We set the challenge to our members to 1. Measure 2. Keep consistent 3. Re-measure... To show them the power of breaking goals in to steps and tracking progress. Leading in to Christmas this becomes important as the healthy routines begin to be pushed aside because of festive events. Collectively all of our members averaged the following over the four week block: - blood pressure before: 130/82, blood pressure after 121/79. - the average resting heart rate dropped 2bpm from 75bpm to 73bpm. - in our sit to stand test members averaged 7 extra reps in the same time frame. - in our push up test members averaged 10 extra reps in the same time frame. - all members improved in their rowing form and capacity. It was fantastic to see everyone embrace the challenge, keep consistent, and be reminded the benefits of testing and re-testing throughout the journey. Congratulations again go to the 9 who topped their category and won a Christmas present from us. A special thank you to @MuscleNation and Brisbane CBD Chiropractic for offering up the great prizes.

05.01.2022 #nomasknoentry . Great to see members keeping their routine with the new mandatory mask rule. It is easy to buy in to the excuse to stop, yet keeping consistent while external factors test how bad you want your goal shows us and yourself that, nothing is going to stop you.
04.01.2022 We’ve had a fantastic first week for our November challenge . Well done to everyone thus far on their participation. In a time when individuals begin to ease off, our members have measured specific areas of their health and have targets they are all aiming towards. Keeping consistent to goals through external change is a very hard thing to do by yourself, but with a tribe it becomes much easier... Those that are wanting that extra spark or accountability coming into the holiday season just reach out to any of our team who will be happy to help.
