When you do google it, turn the volume up and enjoy. For those who have see the post, play it again.

04.01.2022 WE ARE CLOSING. Due to the changes that have been announced by the Chief Medical Officer, reluctantly we will be closing the Sub Branch until further notice. This decision had not taken lightly as we are only allowed 30 patrons at any time and it would not be fair to those wishing to attend. The planned functions, gourmet meal and Christmas function will be put on hold at this time until further notice. Your understanding is appreciated. Mal Fergusson President.
04.01.2022 Your Committee hard at work replacing the under bar fridges. They will look fantastic when completed .
01.01.2022 We have a little project we'd love your help on. Richard (Dick) Browne (VX50598) is one of the last surviving 2/8th Battalion veterans. Dick is a remarkable man..., having fought all 6 years of WW2 across multiple continents, having fought against Nazi Germany, the Vichy French and Italian forces across Crete, Egypt, Syria and Palestine as well as turning around to continue the fight against the Japanese in New Guinea. While his service record denotes Dick as being born on January 12th, 1920, Dick and his twin brother Donald bumped their ages up a year so as to avoid their mother needing to give consent for their service. That means that Dick turns 100 on January 12th, 2021 and we'd like to celebrate the occasion. He's recently returned home after some ill health, but he's still as sharp as ever, and we'd love to surprise this humble hero with your birthday wishes. We're asking those of you who read this to send Dick a birthday card to celebrate a man who, along with his mates, has given us so much. If you'd like to send Dick a birthday card, please address them to: Richard Browne, c/o 28 Devon St, Eaglemont, Victoria, 3084. Please note this is not Dick's address, but we will ensure they are delivered to him. In the age of covid, we of course ask that you do not send anything if you have been unwell, exposed to covid or other illnesses or are in a hotspot. If you have any relative's pictures of Dick (or his brother Donald - both were in C Company) to share, I'm sure he would welcome the opportunity to see them too. Please get your cards sent ASAP so we can have them ready to share with him on January 12th.
