23.01.2022 To all our valued clients We have some simple precautions in place to help minimise the spread of the COVID-19. We will continue to trade and open the salon... as normal. Hand sanitiser on the front bench for you to use in entry and exit of the salon. Removed all magazines from been passed from station to station. Disposable cups for tea, coffee and water, feel free to bring your own to your appointment. Capes and towels will be washed after every use. Stations disinfected and wiped over between all clients. we would appreciate if you have been travelling or feeling unwell to give us a call and we can happily reschedule your appointment for you. We always love seeing you in the salon and having our catch ups but at this time we all need to look after our health and safety We appreciate your cooperation and understanding at this time. 16.01.2022 This is the harsh reality of having a colour change. Although it is possible it does take a lot of time and patience to ensure we keep your hair as healthy as possible during the transition. We have added some photos of the transition and will explain what actually has to happen and what you can expect to see during each process. Top left photo- Our starting point. A build up of dark roots and light ends (balayage). Top right photo- This is after the colour remover has been a...pplied to the dark root area only to help break down the dark. Bottom left- This is after a full head of foils has been processed, rinsed off and dried. No toner has been applied yet as this shows the multiple orange and yellow tones we have to fight to try to achieve one tone all the way through. Bottom right- This stage requires 2 toners to get to the achieved pink tones. The first toner is applied to counteract all the orange and yellow tones seen in the bottom left photo. Once that has processed and been rinsed then the second toner is applied. This toner then gives you the final outcome, which in this case is pink. This process took around 5hours but depending on the length and thickness of your hair, it could take longer. Please also know that none of these photos have filters and are the raw truth. Also with a colour transformation like this you will be required to keep up at home care eg. appropriate colour shampoo to help the toner last, treatments and leave in moisturisers that keep the hair healthy between appointments. As most of you know we are pretty understanding and we know things happen and are more then willing to change times as people need. ... We love and appreciate all of our clientele and 99% are amazing! Sadly it’s that 1% that is disappointing. If you do happen to do a no show you will be put on a list and a 50% of your appointment booking will be charged before you can book another appointment in the salon.
