23.01.2022 Football West has been notified that Sports TG is currently experiencing issues with players who have recently been registered not appearing on the platform. An...y player who has been registered and made active is eligible to play. Clubs whose players are not appearing on the match sheet please use the following procedure: 1. Fill in Electronic Match Sheet (with as many players as are available) 2. Inform the referee of any players not on the team sheet and their shirt number 3. Send Football West an email detailing the players who were not able to be listed on the EMS to [email protected] 4. Football West will amend the EMS once the players have appeared on SportsTG 5. 21.01.2022 National Volunteer Week begins on Monday and Football West wants to hear about those in the WA football community who go above and beyond for our sport. We are ...asking clubs and associations to nominate individuals who make a real contribution in the WA football community. All nominated volunteers will be acknowledged as part of our new Best of the West initiative, where we shine a light on the outstanding people in the football community and highlight positive projects undertaken by our clubs and associations. And we have teamed up with Computing Australia Group, Football West’s preferred technology partner, to offer a gift card prize valued at $1,000 to the club who nominates the outstanding volunteer for recognition. That volunteer will receive a Visa Debit gift card to the value of $250. To get the ball rolling, Football West this week visited Tuart Hill Junior Soccer Club where we spoke with two of their key volunteers, club president Andrea Belfiore and treasurer Sonia Faranda. As well as volunteers, Football West wants to share the upcoming projects and events which our clubs and associations are undertaking. Nominate your volunteer here: https://forms.footballwest.com.au/best-of-the-west-volunte/ Let us know why your club’s project is worthy of Best of the West recognition here: https://forms.footballwest.com.au/best-of-the-west-club-as/ Full story: https://bit.ly/2RWxswc Football Australia

20.01.2022 In the movies, you often see the patient jump out of their skin when a defib is applied to their chest. This is a total dramatisation! It's not how defibs work, so we've put together this handy tutorial to show you how easy (and safe) it is to use a defibrillator.

10.01.2022 Full contact sport and training will once again be permitted in WA next Saturday, 6 June. This is a huge step forward, which will mean from next weekend, people... of all ages will be able to start competitive contact sports. This is an important change for our community. It means our local sports clubs can get going again and get back to playing the important role they have in our community, especially in regional WA. It means many social sports can resume, which are an important part of many peoples' social lives. And I know for many young kids in particular, getting back to junior sports is a big part of their normal life. It's only because of the efforts of every Western Australian that we can take this step. Thanks WA!
