08.01.2022 Massive news for Tuff Truck Challenge. Event Dates set for the next 5 years. Unfortunately for our competitors & fans, this means there will be no event in 2020. Rebuilding the event structure & event as a whole left us no time to guarantee a 2020 date. So we move back to the April/May timeline from 2021 till 2025. Save the dates.

07.01.2022 Event Update TTC2021 Good Afternoon Tuff Truck Fans. Unfortunately, we must deliver some disappointing news. TTC2021 is officially cancelled. Pre-set dates of 29th April - 2nd May2022 will be the next event. As we stated in our February Post, regarding Covid, we have been left with no choice but to cancel the 2021 event. The vaccine rollout issues ,cases popping up in some states, lockdowns in some states. NSW’s Byron Bay event cancelled the day prior to opening (due to covi...d). The risks are just too high. On a side note, we must thank someone above for looking out for us, If the April 2021 event were to run as planned. The event would have been forced to postpone or cancel due to ( Not Covid ) the NSW Floods & weather activity in the Hunter region. The entire site was/is a mess with continuous flows of water throughout the campgrounds, making setup impossible let alone the destruction we would have made to the site if thousands of fans attended. An updated Competitor list will be online in the coming weeks & we will notify as soon as it's LIVE. We do wish circumstances were different. Thank you for your support & see you all at TTC2022 Regards Pete Antunac Event Director Tuff Events & Promotions Aust

05.01.2022 Event Update TTC2021 Good Morning Tuff Truck Fans. As we all know, 2020 was the most challenging year yet for the majority of Australians. The Covid-19 impact across the world has devastated so many areas of the economy, and unfortunately today it still is. Restrictions and border closures seem to be the new normal.... The decision not to host a 2020 event was not an easy one at all. Everyone looks forward to Tuff Truck time of year, so not running the 2020 event was a huge impact to all of us. We also know that if 2020 was to run in April, that by the end of Feb 2020, Tuff Events would have lost a considerably large amount of $$$, which would not have been recoverable. Lesson learnt. Now being less than 3 months away from the 2021 event, here we are again. We are still affected by Covid-19. Although restrictions have eased the past week since making this decision. This is not the position a major event needs to be in. This now places an enormity of pressure and super high risk that makes TTC2021 in April unsustainable. Rather than cancel the 2021 event immediately. The proposed event date change is: October 22-23-24th 2021. If any Covid related restrictions and or border closures are still present during April 2021, There will be no 2021 event & the previously set dates of 29th April - 2nd May 2022 will be the focus. Reason for this. We need a full 6 un-interrupted months to build momentum leading into the event. ( and yes for sure Covid has influenced the lack of momentum to date ) When someone asks us TTC2021 april definitely on. The answer is simple. We have no idea what the next 3 months will bring. The effect of covid hits all teams, event staff, spectators, and sponsors. TTC is reliant on all of these areas to be sustainable. I'm sure we all just expected this to blow over within a year, well it hasn't. We need to implement measures to ensure that Tuff Truck is sustainable for the future & are doing just that. We wish circumstances were different, but we are all in unprecedented times and must adapt as we get through the pandemic and get the Aussie economy back on track. We are disappointed to say the least, we know how much the event means to so many people, and the entire local community. Thanks for your support & your understanding. Regards Pete Antunac Event Director Tuff Events & Promotions Aust.
